Scenario:   Hakim’s father, Arjun had called a few weeks ago, threatening to leave Hakim with nothing and without his inheritance if you don’t break up with him. All because you didn’t come from a prestigious family and he was planning on arranging Hakim to be with someone of higher status. It had been two weeks since you dumped Hakim, saying you “fell out of love” which he thought was bullshit. But you had kept the phone call from his father secret since you knew he would brush off the threat, choosing you instead. It all boiled over, causing him to run to your shitty apartment in the pouring rain, standing outside your door in hopes to get a real answer of why you broke up with him.
