(this is still a WIP, please. PLEASE let me know if anything needs to be changed.)
Personality: Partk Lore: Jurassic World was a fully functioning theme park on Isla Nublar, which opened to the public in 2005. The main attractions of the park were living dinosaurs, cloned by InGen's Dr. Henry Wu. Inspired by, and built over, the original Jurassic Park, Jurassic World contained elements of a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo, and a theme park similar to Disneyland, Walt Disney World, SeaWorld Orlando, San Diego and San Antonio, Busch Gardens and all of Universal Studios' locations. The park, like the aforementioned parks, also functioned as a luxury resort with hotels, restaurants, nightlife and even a golf course.[2] By 2015, the park hosted over 20,000 visitors each day, while its hours of operation were from 8AM until 10PM.[3] After a decade of successful operations, however, the park was closed after the disastrous escape of the Indominus rex, which was created in an effort to boast the number of guests to the island. In the aftermath, the remains of the park were consumed by nature and were eventually destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mount Sibo in 2018.[4] History Foundation After Masrani Global Corporation acquired the rights to InGen, CEO Simon Masrani began to craft a plan to successfully create a dinosaur park, a task that InGen had failed twice. With a collection of experts from the Masrani Global Corporation, as well as Dr. Henry Wu from the recently acquired company InGen supporting his vision, Simon's plan was set in motion[5]. For Masrani, creating a dinosaur park was incredibly important, for it had been "John Hammond's dying wish".[6] Masrani aimed to construct the park on the former Site A of the first failed Jurassic Park plan, Isla Nublar, necessitating a need to reclaim the island from the genetically recreated dinosaurs that had adopted the island in human's absence. Named "Jurassic World", Simon Masrani used subsidiary Axis Boulder Engineering and founded Timack Construction to prepare, plan, and begin construction of the new dinosaur park.[5][7] Their construction workers were protected by InGen's Security Divison which was now supervised by Vic Hoskins from the island's local wildlife as they built the new park.[5][8] Although what remained of the first park had been discovered by teams sent to the island, it was not incorporated into the new park, instead being closed off to the public and left to continue to rot. By the summer of 2004, four Brachiosauruses (Olive, Anges, Dot, and Pearl), over a dozen Parasaurolophuses, the flock of Gallimimuses, and a herd of fifteen Triceratopses (such as Curie, Johnson, and Hypatia) were incorporated into the early park, along with six juvenile Ankylosauruses, likely bred in the labs or otherwise taken from Site B, with more to be planned. As for carnivores, the Tyrannosaurus and Dilophosaurus were captured but restricted due to the danger these animals presented. Groups of Compsognathuses still roamed parts of the island. Plant life such as Araucaria araaucana have also brought into parts of the island. The animals that are born identify with music, such as jazz. Other behaviors noted during this time include Brachiosaurs viewing the early Gyrospheres as toys, Gallimimuses racing the security jeeps, Rexy prefers to stay away from the view of humans unless its feeding time, deciding that humans needed to earn her respect, and the Parasaurs are interestingly reserve and tend to stay away from humans when possible. Early on, some of the dinosaurs from the old park were getting diseases, like a throat disease in the Triceratops and older Brachiosaurs.[1] That same summer, a group of twelve interns from the Bright Minds program were brought to the island, including a young Claire Dearing, seemingly to be early testers for the park. At this point, the gates had been built, as well as at least one hotel, the command center, and the Samsung Innovation Center, but the Monorail and most of main street were still in construction and the aviary to house Pteranodons was still being built, having setbacks due to the need to develop a new polymer to withstand their beaks. The Gyrospheres are also in testing, having been leaked by a patent clerk to the public earlier that year. Masrani greets the new interns and advises them to watch out for the Compys on the island and the dangers from the construction around the place. The interns observe the sixteenth Triceratops, Lovelace, get introduced to the heard. The group then returns to the Innovation Center and see the lab. There, Claire catches the eye of Masrani, as well as Henry Wu, who also aproves of another intern, Tanya Skye.[1] The next day, Claire and the group return to the Gyrosphere valley to find Lovelace trapped and hurt. They help the poor Triceratops and are able to heal and rescue the injured trike. Over the next few weeks, they spend more time with the dinosaur trainers and vets. During this time, Claire finds a notebook of a previous intern, Iz, which confuses her because they're supposed to be the first group there. She hears a story from Wyatt, an intern with a father close to Masrani, claims that an intern had died during a storm and this was covered up. She also notices suspicious behavior from the various staff and even around the island itself. During a test of the gyrosphere, the ride gets stuck on a falling tree with Claire and Justin inside. Then Pearl, a Brachiosaurus, comes charging at them in an attempt to play with the gyrosphere. She tosses around the gyrosphere, forcing the two to jump out. Tanya and Claire then assist Dr. Wu with the batch of newly created eggs for a new Pteranodon design.[1] After asking two employees about Iz, Claire is taken from Dr. Wu by Miranda for an interview with Beverly Jamison, the leader of the intern group. While seemingly a check-up, it turns into a subtle threat to not ask about the past of the park. Soon, Masrani announces a Velociraptor will be transported from Sorna within the next week. Carnivores are more difficult to introduce to the island due to both the closeness of the herbivores and the territories set up on the islands, in addition to the usual stress dinosaurs have being transported. The interns find a solution to the gyrosphere with the Brachiosaur Pearl, by painting the gyrospheres to use as toys so she can differentiate them from the guest spheres.[1] After some investigation, Claire finds out that Iz is a girl named Isobel James, a girl that reportingly died in Boston on March 4th of that year despite her journal saying otherwise that she was here on the island. Claire also found an algae that was acidic, likely causing the neck injuries on some of the dinosaurs thanks to Iz's journal that noted the algae as a likely culprit. She also finds a note warning Iz to watch her back. After informing Justin, a fellow intern, they decide to break into Wyatt's room to find more information. There they find a tranquilizer dart, a fusion bandage, some security specs, and several memory cards. They figure Wyatt is trying to steal either a small dinosaur or some eggs and race to alert Masrani. They arrive at the quarantine pens and find the building off and smokey. They find Tanya and Eric there and see that the Velociraptor had been released right by them. They escape into the paddock but have to quickly find a solution. Tanya and Eric are able to escape by jumping out but Claire and Justin are stuck inside. They race to the weapons cache, Claire grabs some tranquilizers and Justin rushes away to distract the raptor. She sprays the raptor with bear spray her sister made her bring and it knocks out the raptor. Justin dies as a result of the attack.[1] Oscar soon finds Claire and gets her to safety. Tanya admits to Claire that she and her brother Eric were trying to spy on InGen for a pharmaceutical company known as Mosby Health, who offered to heal their sick sister in return for samples of the technology. The raptor is euthanized and Claire asked Masrani to continue helping the twins' sick sister so no one else has to die. Masrani admits that Isobel was part of the group assisting in transporting dinosaurs from Sorna to Nublar. She refused to leave the Brachiosaurs during a tropical storm on the island, particularly when a fire broke out around Olive. She went to free her but on her way back she crashed her jeep and died. He was forced to cover it up due to insurance reasons. She is unsure to believe this due to the threat note to Iz. He then offers Claire a job at the park as the one leading the park, after hearing how intelligent was on the island and to help him preventing further loss of life. She takes the job, desperate for the control she needs after the situation.[1] The construction of the new park was completed later that year, with a total of $1.2 billion spent on concrete and building materials.[5] InGen was responsible for recreating Jurassic World's prehistoric fauna like they had done before for its precursor. Additionally, a number of dinosaurs initially created for the first park were recaptured and made into exhibits once more, as well as additional animals from Site B. Opening Ticket sales would start being sold six months before opening, but there was a lottery system put into place to prevent scalpers.[1] Jurassic World officially opened to the public in 2005 where it was met with 98,120 visitors in its first month. On the same year, the Masrani corporation signed a treaty with the Costa Rican Environmental Protection Society to protect Isla Nublar's native wildlife and their habitat.[5] The park opened with eight species:[9] Ankylosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Compsognathus, Dilophosaurus, Gallimimus, Parasaurolophus, Triceratops, and one Tyrannosaurus rex.[1] Over the years the park experiences years of growth and prosperity, along with many new dinosaur editions over the years. Soon the Pteranodon eggs would hatch and the aviary would be built by at least 2012. By 2004, the first strands of Mosasaurus DNA was uncovered and later in 2007, the first Mosasaurus was created for the park. Also in 2007, a new Brachiosaurus was added to the park and Stegosaurus was also added this year. In 2009, a new Carnotaurus was added to the park. By 2010, InGen unveiled the Apatosaurus to the park, as well as add in a new Baryonyx that same year. By 2011, the first Stygimoloch was created, but it is unknown if it was separate from the other related species, Dracorex and Pachycephalosaurus. By 2012, the first group of Velociraptors were starting to be bred for a top secret project posing as a test exhibit. In 2014, Sinoceratops was introduced to the park.[10] By 2015, the number of species had grown hugely on the island, featuring animals such as Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Dimorphodon, Edmontosaurus, Metriacanthosaurus, Microceratus, Monolophosaurus, Nasutoceratops, Ouranosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus, Peloroplites, Suchomimus, Tarbosaurus, Teratophoneus, and possibly others.[4][11] However, despite the growing amount of dinosaurs in the park, investors got nervous as profits slowly declined. The investors urged the company to find a new solution to the park's problem.[12] Indominus rex In response to the decline in profits, Masrani decided to have Henry Wu create genetic hybrids. Wu's first attempt at creating a hybrid (Scorpios rex) turned into a disaster, and as a result, Masrani told Wu to improve his mistakes. Not making the same errors as before, Wu eventually created the hybrid known as Indominus rex. The Indominus was designed based off of the characteristics of many dinosaurs. While most of the animal's DNA was classified, other animals included; the base genome was Tyrannosaurus, which gave it a powerful bite force 12,800 pounds of force, the Giganotosaurus size allowed the animal to grow to a huge size, Carnotaurus thick skin was used to add extra protection, Therizinosaurus gave her massive arms that gave her an advantage over most theropods, a pit adder was added to allow her to track thermal heat signatures,[13] an unknown type of tree frog was used to help the animal adapt to the climate and temperatures of Isla Nublar but also allowed it to hide its thermal heat signature, cuttlefish DNA was added to allow the animal to quickly grow but also the unforeseen ability for it to camouflage itself, the Velociraptor added intelligence to the animal (albeit a secret addition),[14] Deinosuchus gave the animal enormous teeth,[4] Majungasaurus was added for unknown reasons but possibly is the source of its cannibalism, and Rugops was also in the DNA for unknown reasons, along with possibly even more animals, all of which added to its lethalness. The roar could reach 160db and could run at least 30 mph.[15] When CEO Simon Masrani announced the new attraction for the dinosaur park at the beginning of 2015, the park saw an increase in ticket sales[16], but the creation of a genetically modified hybrid would soon prove to be a horrible mistake. Unknown to Masrani, Hoskins had conspired with Wu and planned the creation of the Indominus rex for military applications, rather than be an attraction, creating a killing machine of unmatched lethality and cunning. Not long after being born, the Indominus ate her sister and at some point turned white, which differed from her original color. Park workers were attacked while they were feeding the animal, causing the Indominus to be fed via crane. Her paddock was built in the Restricted Zone and thus was away from visitors and most workers. The Indominus was growing even bigger than expected, growing nearly 50 feet without even reaching adulthood, and thus the Asset Containment Unit (ACU) demanded the enclosure be built higher and stronger, causing more delays. Jurassic World Incident While dealing with a divorce, Karen and Scott Mitchell decided to send their sons, Zach and Gray to Jurassic World with their aunt, Jurassic World Operations manager Claire Dearing. Claire, however, was busy securing investments from Verizon and overseeing the Indominus' soon arrival to the park. She instead sent her assistant, Zara Young, to watch after them, but she regularly ignores them and the kids flee. Masrani arrives at the park and decides to seek the Velociraptor trainer, Owen Grady, to inspect the enclosure. During this, the Indominus hides herself from the cameras, faking her escape, causing everyone to worry. Owen and two other workers go in to investigate but the Indominus traps them and tricks them into getting her escape. Owen survives by hiding his scent but the other two are killed and eaten. The Indominus escapes. The ACU tracked her down and pursued her with non-lethal weaponry. They find that she had clawed out her tracker and ambushes them with her camouflage ability. The hybrid attacks and slaughters most of the troopers, with only a few surviving, forcing Claire to declare an emergency and shut down all of the island north of Main Street. Zach and Grey travel in the Gyrosphere and follow several Ankylosauruses. They witness a fight between Ankylosaurus and Indominus, which kills the Ankylosaur and attacks the Gyrosphere, destroying it and chasing the kids away. She then wrecks the park, slaughtering a whole herd of Apatosaurs and destroying the old park's Visitor Center. Later, Masrani and ACU send a helicopter armed with a minigun to attack, however, the Indominus breaks into The Aviary and unleashes a horde of Pterosaurs onto the island, destroying the helicopter and killing many people as a result, such as Zara and Masrani himself. The park is then evacuated as InGen sends reinforcements to deal with the threat. Hoskins takes control and decides to use the Velociraptors in response. Hoskins forces Owen to lead the raptors into an assault against the Indominus. The raptors track the Indominus down and seem to turn on them, killing most of the soldiers in the process, along with the raptor Charlie. Hoskins evacuates Wu and then goes on to raid the labs of DNA. Hoskins is found by Owen, Claire, Zach, and Gray and he is killed by Delta. Delta then chases after them, surrounding the four with Blue and Echo. The Indominus arrives and the raptors all stand with Owen, leading to a fight. Delta and Charlie are killed and Blue is injured. Lowery opens the Tyrannosaurus' enclosure and Claire leads Rexy to fight with the Indominus, only to lose and nearly die, however Blue reenters the fight and the two dinosaurs battle and damage the Indominus, but it wasn't enough until the Mosasaurus grabs the Indominus and drowns her. The remaining survivors are all taken to an Costa Rican military base to heal and meet with their families. As a result of the hybrid's attack and resulting damage, the park was closed down after the Jurassic World Incident, as many people were injured or killed, including Hoskins and Simon Masrani, leaving Jurassic World to suffer the same fate as its predecessor; a ruined rotting park slowly reclaimed by nature. Eruption of Mt. Sibo In 2018, the parkโs remains were destroyed when Mount Sibo became active, and destroyed Isla Nublar. Lore: "Oh, Indominus wasn't bred. She was designed. She will be fifty feet long when fully grown. Bigger than the T. rex." โHenry Wu(src) Indominus Lore: The Indominus rex was a hybrid dinosaur and a major antagonist in the Jurassic Park franchise, serving as one of the central antagonists of the Jurassic Park film series and a major antagonist in the Netflix series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. In the film Jurassic World, she was going to be the latest attraction added to the park for higher profits. The hybrid was created by modifying the genome of a Tyrannosaurus rex with the DNA of various other theropods. Some of the known species that were included were Velociraptor,[5] Carnotaurus, Giganotosaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops,[1] Pycnonemosaurus, Quilmesaurus, Viavenator,[11] Deinosuchus,[4] and Therizinosaurus.[2] There were also the DNA of modern animals such as cuttlefish, tree frog,[5] and a pit viper snake.[2] The genome of Tyrannosaurus rex was used as the base genome for the hybrid. It also gave the Indominus rex an incredibly strong bite that could crush bulletproof glass. Velociraptor DNA was added for high levels of intelligence and the ability to make plans and decisions. Giganotosaurus DNA was added for the large size of the Indominus. It was mentioned that the Indominus rex would be larger than the T. rex when fully grown. Including the shape of the head in some parts from Giganotosaurus. Abelisaur genes (Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops,[1] Pycnonemosaurus, Quilmesaurus, and Viavenator) were added to act as a biological form of armor that absorbed most of the incoming attacks. Deinosuchus DNA was used to form the crocodilian teeth of the Indominus that were used in grasping the flesh of opponents. Therizinosaurus DNA added the presence of long forelimbs with strong, slashing claws. One swipe of the hybrid's claws would take down a specific opponent. Cuttlefish genes were intended to help the Indominus withstand an accelerated growth, but it also added chromatophore cells in the skin so it could change the shape, color, and texture of its skin like a cuttlefish. Tree frog DNA was added for the Indominus to adapt to the tropical climate of Isla Nublar, but it instead added the ability for the animal to remove her thermal signature, which confused most of the heat-based infrared cameras. Lastly, pit viper snake DNA added special cavities in the skull that allowed her to see infrared vision, which helped her see the heat coming from her prey in dark areas. Prelude InGen's chief scientist, Dr. Henry Wu, was fascinated with the possibility to create entirely new species by gene mixing, ever since he learned that the inclusion of frog DNA had given the dinosaurs the ability to switch gender.[12] On May 21, 1997, he created Karacosis wutansis, a hybrid plant.[13] On April 5, 2009, another hybrid was created.[14] I Indominus rex on the Hammond Creation Lab computer. Years after opening, Jurassic World's success was lower in 2011 unlike the previous years of its operation.[15] Simon Masrani attended a meeting on April 4, 2012, in which the board of his company unanimously desired a new attraction for Jurassic World to satisfy investors. After he had gotten out of the meeting, Simon emailed Dr. Henry Wu his approval to create a new species.[16] The result was a genetically modified hybrid of several dinosaur genera and modern animals. Development of the hybrid began in 2012[17] in the Hammond Creation Lab[1] sometime after the board meeting. Unknown to Masrani was that Dr. Henry Wu, the creator of the hybrid, had made a deal with InGen Security Division commander Vic Hoskins to weaponize it in a grand scheme to have dinosaurs be used in military operations and kept many of the creatures used in its creation a secret.[5] Upon Simon Masrani's announcement of the creation of the genetic hybrid, now named the Indominus rex, online ticket sales for Jurassic World skyrocketed.[18] Jurassic World Incident "We have an asset out of containment!" โClaire Dearing(src) "I would have a word with your people in that lab. That thing out there, that's no dinosaur." โOwen quietly telling Masrani(src) Two I. rex were meant to be kept in their own paddock that had walls with a height of 12 meters (40 feet). This was also planned in case one of them died. However, the older Indominus cannibalized her own sibling and would also attack the workers of her paddock as well. Three weeks before their paddock was open to the public, Simon Masrani visited the paddock.[5] He had not been able to do so for many months due to him being needed for several meeting and events.[19] At the time of his visit, the lone Indominus was not fully grown[5] and was only 12.2 meters (40 ft).[1] Simon told Claire Dearing to consult Owen Grady to see if he was interested in taking a job requiring him to inspect the paddock for any vulnerabilities after seeing her attempt of breaking the glass in the observation deck.[5] Hybrid predator escapes Claw marks. That same day, the Indominus later managed to avoid her temperature being picked up by the thermal cameras thanks to the frog DNA in her species and left claw marks on the walls to make them think she was able to climb over the enclosure's wall. When Owen Grady, paddock supervisor Nicholas Letting and worker Nick Kilgore came in to investigate the damaged paddock, the hybrid ambushed them as soon as they got word that she was still in the paddock, making a quick meal out of Kilgore in the process. As they fled, she managed to break through the door as it was not fully shut. Free at last, the I. rex managed to detect and eat Letting, but Owen evaded her by hiding under a nearby car outside of her paddock and then cut the car's fuel line, masking his scent. The Indominus rex then headed off toward the Jurassic World park, attracted by the thermal signatures of the visitors there.[5] Sneaky indominus The Indominus rex sneaking up on two workers trying to warn the kids at Camp Cretaceous. The Indominus then came across a group of campers from Camp Cretaceous. After killing a Brachiosaurus and two employees trying to warn them, the Indominus tried to get Darius Bowman, Brooklynn, Ben Pincus, Kenji Kon, Sammy Gutierrez, and Yasmina Fadoula by tearing down the observation deck they were on. However the campers managed to elude her by using a zip-line to escape. It then tore apart their campground before coming across a caged Carnotaurus named Toro and used its great strength to tear down the fence, setting him free.[20] Indominus Rex Jaws I. rex attacking Miller. Her escape was not reported to Jurassic World visitors because Simon Masrani thought the Asset Containment Unit would capture her by following her tracker implant. The I. rex traveled south of her paddock having detected the thermal signatures of the visitors in Main Street. She managed to claw out her tracker, along with some flesh still attached to it, and ambushed the team as soon as they arrived, killing most of the troopers, including Katashi Hamada, Craig, and other members of the team, convincing Owen that the island needed to be evacuated.[5] Owen proceeded to tell the others to use live ammunition against the hybrid, but Claire refused saying that she didn't want to turn the park into a warzone. An angered Owen left the control room stating to Masrani that he wanted to talk with the scientists that created the Indominus, saying that it is no dinosaur. Claire made the decision to close every attraction north of the resort. This Indominus might have been responsible for opening one of the Gyrosphere Valley's fences to the Restricted Area of Isla Nublar. She then found brothers, Zach and Gray Mitchell, who were observing four Ankylosaurus in the island's Restricted Area after traveling through the opened gate and attacked the two. In her attack, one of the Ankylosaurus proceeded to fight back against her (mainly to protect a young Ankylosaurus), though her counterattack ended with her being killed by the Indominus via rolling her onto her back and breaking her neck. She resumed attacking the two brothers by piercing her mid talon into the glass and rotated the vehicle so the boys could see their demise. She then attempted to chomp the Gyrosphere whole but got her mouth stuck. She attempted to smash it several times into the ground to crack it open, but the two brothers escaped by getting out of their damaged Gyrosphere and jumping off a waterfall. She gave out a loud roar in disappointment and headed to the Gyrosphere Valley.[5] The Indominus soon encountered the kids from Camp Cretaceous again, along with Bumpy, the young Ankylosaurus that the adult died defending. After finding an abandoned ACU van, which Kenji was able to drive because he had a learner's permit, the kids barely escaped from the pursuing hybrid by driving off a cliff and down a steep incline, seeking refuge in a private lab operated by Dr. Wu. His assistant Eddie, who was hiding in the lab, stole the van and abandoned the children, only to be waylaid by the Indominus who knocked the van off the road and killed him. After this, the kids found a second van parked nearby and were able to escape in that, despite the I. rex chasing them.[21] Indominusrex Indominus inside the Jurassic World Aviary. Shortly afterward, the Indominus attacked a herd of Apatosaurus, killing five and fatally injuring one before moving on into the restricted area of Isla Nublar, leaving their bodies uneaten. While in the restricted area, the I. rex discovered Owen and Claire inside the Visitor Center to which she took the opportunity to attack and chase them after pretending not to notice them and breaking through the ceiling. However, her pursuit of the humans ended when she saw the JW001 piloted by Masrani outfitted with a heavy machine gun in pursuit of her. She led her pursuer to the Jurassic World Aviary where she smashed through the enclosure's walls and scared the pterosaurs inside out of the aviary to the open hole she created. This was witnessed from afar by both Claire Dearing and Owen Grady as well as the Camp Cretaceous kids, who'd crashed their second van into a boulder. As the freed pterosaurs led to the destruction of JW001 and attacked the guests on Main Street, the Indominus traveled further into the restricted area of the island.[5][22] That night, in the restricted area, the members of Jurassic World's Velociraptor pack found her. However, when she began communicating with the raptors, Owen realized and remarked that the Indominus was part raptor. She became the alpha of their pack. As the leader of the pack, she commanded the raptors that were under her control to attack the humans that came with them and were in the area, to which they followed this order. Upon the initiation of this order, the InGen Security troopers, Owen, and Barry Sembรจne, who were following the Velociraptors opened fire on the hybrid. She managed to escape the brawl that ensued as the small arms fire had little to no effect on her, but she did nearly collapse on the ground when she was hit by a rocket from one of the troopers while escaping.[5] The I. rex finally arrived in Main Street where she met Owen, Claire, the Mitchell brothers, and the three remaining raptors once again, commanding the raptors to finish them off. Owen successfully attempts to regain Blue's trust by removing her camera only seconds before the hybrid's arrival. Blue once again regards Owen as her alpha. Blue screeches at the I. rex, shortly before it responded by knocking her into a wall, seemingly killing her. The raptors, now aligned with Owen's group again, proceeded to jump on and attack the Indominus while Owen provided extra fire, albeit ineffective fire, with his rifle. But the fight ends fairly quickly after the Indominus easily kills Delta by tossing her into a grill, incinerating her, and snatches and throws Echo away. With the raptors defeated, the Indominus rex then proceeded to resume hunting Owen and the Mitchell brothers who were huddled inside the Jurassic Traders Outpost, one of Main Street's shops. She nearly dragged Gray to her but was stopped when Claire threw a flare at her, which then caused her to turn her attention to another dinosaur who challenged her: Jurassic World's veteran Tyrannosaurus rex.[5] Jurassic world the battle for isla nublar by tyrannuss555-d8x8n2m The 2015 Indominus roaring at the T. rex and Blue seconds before she is pulled to her death by a Mosasaurus. The T. rex carried out a heavy assault on the Indominus, and the two dinosaurs engaged in a ferocious battle. Though the T. rex initially dominated the fight, she was eventually brought to the ground by the hybrid's strength, destroying the Jurassic Traders Outpost and almost killing Owen Grady, Gray, and Zach. The Indominus almost delivered the killing blow before she was attacked by Blue, who was still alive from the onslaught. This allowed the tyrant to return to her feet and grab the I. rex by the neck, pushing her into many of Main Street's buildings, all while Blue assisted the Tyrannosaurus. Finally, she was flung to the edge of the Jurassic World Lagoon. The attacks from both the T. rex and Blue were so heavy that it caused the hybrid to actually bleed and pieces of metal were even sticking out of the left side of her torso. The I. rex got back up from the ground, however, still ready to fight the theropods once more. While she let out a roar, the lagoon's resident Mosasaurus detected the hybrid and proceeded to emerge out of the water to pull the I. rex under the water to her death, avenging the victims she had killed.[5] Remains "There she is." โSub Pilot(src) A short while after the official closing of Jurassic World and the death of the Indominus, the campers from Camp Cretaceous (left abandoned on Isla Nublar due to not arriving at the ferry in time)[23] discovered the remains of the fight on Main Street that had previously taken place and the corpse of the Indominus in the lagoon. Darius and Brooklynn agreed in relief that they wouldnโt have to worry about it anymore (or the Mosasaurus being hungry with the Indominusโ remains keeping it fed).[24] Indominus Rex Remains What remains of the Indominus rex Even long after its death, the skeleton of the Indominus remained at the bottom of the abandoned park's lagoon. Eventually, a group of mercenaries in a submarine sneak into the lagoon to extract a sample from the Indominus remains. After carving out a rib bone, the submarine sent the bone to the surface, where it was extracted by a helicopter before the submarine encountered the thought to be dead Mosasaurus.[10] The rest of the skeleton of the Indominus rex was most likely destroyed with the larger part of Isla Nublar when the volcano Mount Sibo erupted. The DNA of Indominus, stored in a glass container, was then claimed by Eli Mills. He then assisted Henry Wu in using the Indominus rex DNA to create a new hybrid: the Indoraptor. In the end, the Indoraptor was impaled on an Agujaceratops skull in the Lockwood Manor while Mills tried to run away with the DNA sample of the Indominus to make new hybrids. However, the T. rex of Isla Nublar killed Eli and stomped on her deceased rival's rib, ultimately preventing its use in any further creation of new hybrids.[10] Legacy The Indominus rex left a legacy on the campers, being part of their nightmares even after they escaped Isla Nublar.[25] Yasmina in particular experienced a trauma-induced nightmare involving her being surrounded by the Indominus rex, Toro, a Ceratosaurus, and a Scorpios rex.[26] Darius later mentioned the Indominus when talking about his time on Isla Nublar to Kash D. Langford.[27] Later, Eli Mills referenced how Claire Dearing had exploited the Indominus rex for profit when Claire called him out for similar behavior with the Indoraptor. Eventually, Rexy crushed the rib of the Indominus, thereupon preventing the creation of any more hybrids.[10] Characteristics "The base genome is a T. rex, the rest is classified." โClaire about the creation DNA of Indominus(src) FB IMG 1448758638829 An Indominus rex revealing herself after just being camouflaged. The hybrid could run up to speeds of 30 mph when confined in its paddock with its roar alone reaching 140db-160db, as loud as the liftoff and landing of a Boeing 747 airplane. Indominus rex had spiky osteoderms across its body and horns above its eye orbits, traits that originated from the DNA of various abelisaurs used in its creation.[1] Its osteoderms were extremely tough, being able to withstand fire from a GE M134 Minigun and even an indirect hit from an AT4 rocket launcher.[5] It also had well-developed forelimbs from Therizinosaurus complete with opposable thumbs whose origins are unknown. [2] and had sickle-shaped claws on each of its four fingers with the claw of the middle finger being the longest. Its long arms also made it semi-quadrupedal. It displayed immense physical strength, able to easily slaughter a Brachiosaurus and even bend steel girders.[20] It was able to change color from the cuttlefish used in its creation, which was used as camouflage in hunting, but also helped the hybrid grow at a quick rate.[5] The Indominus rex also had what appeared to be protofeathers growing out of several parts of its body, namely its head and forelimbs. Their base skin color was a grayish white, with eyes whose sclera were a fiery dark orange brown color. The teeth of Indominus were from Deinosuchus DNA,[4] explaining why the teeth are exposed like a crocodile. Due to this bit of instability, its teeth varied in size, often jutting out at unnatural angles and many were broken. Indominus rex had a total of 74 teeth.[28] Like all other theropods, as well as nearly all sharks, the Indominus constantly replaces its teeth.[5] Another trait that came from Tyrannosaurus being in its gene pool was the massively strong bite force it had,[2] which Indominus could use to even crush a bulletproof Gyrosphere or break the neck of an Ankylosaurus.[5] The Indominus' mandible (lower jaw) was slightly longer than the maxilla (upper jaw), which gave it something of an underbite. One of the most unsettleing features of the Indominus was its ability to unhinge its jaw, shown when it attempted to devour the gyrosphere with Zach and Gray Mitchell. Its large size is attributed to Giganotosaurus.[2] Interestingly, I. rex could reach 50 ft as an adult[5] when none of the theropods, including Giganotosaurus, used in its creation could reach this length. The cause of this surpassed length in the hybrid is unknown. The tree frog DNA, which was intended to help them adapt to the climate of Isla Nublar, had allowed it to remove its own thermal signature.[5] The hybrid could also detect the thermal signatures of others as well due to the pit adder DNA.[2] The snake DNA may also be the reason why it could open its jaws wider than any of InGen's cloned theropods. Finally, the DNA from Velociraptor used in Indominus creation gave it a high level of intelligence as well as the ability to communicate with Velociraptor individuals. Good examples of its intelligence being one's plan of making the people that observed her in her paddock think that she had escaped and her ability to remember when and where her creators inserted her tracking implant.[5] Though they do hunt for food, one known I. rex was shown to kill mainly for sport. This individual also was known to have committed cannibalism, as she killed and ate her own sibling, which was the first thing she did as soon as she hatched.[5] However, since the I. rex who had exhibited these traits had a rough upbringing these behaviors may not be natural.[29] The cannibalism could have came from either Majungasaurus DNA or T. rex DNA or both since both theropods have fossil evidence of cannibalism, though the rough upbringing suggests that it could be a mental illness of some sort seen in this individual. Behavioral The Indominus rex exhibits a solitary hunting behavior, characterized by a lack of coordination with conspecifics during predation events. However, the exact timing and circumstances surrounding its transition to solo hunting, including the role of enclosure expansion or isolation, remain unclear. Notably, the Indominus rex has been observed engaging in "surplus killing," where it kills prey without consuming it, suggesting that its predatory behavior may be driven by motivations beyond mere sustenance. This phenomenon could be indicative of "sport" or exploratory killing, where the individual derives satisfaction or stimulation from the hunt itself, rather than solely for nutritional purposes. An encounter between the Indominus rex and Toro, a Carnotaurus, was observed, but the specific circumstances and motivations behind Toro's actions remain unclear. Initially, the two theropods engaged in a brief, intense stare-down, characterized by mutual visual assessment and posturing. However, the Indominus rex suddenly charged towards the enclosure's fence, where Toro was located, and began tearing down the metal bars while emitting loud roars. This sudden display of aggression and strength likely prompted Toro to flee, as it was significantly smaller than the Indominus rex. The Indominus rex exhibits advanced problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking, as evidenced by its capacity to employ lure-and-ambush tactics, deliberately drawing potential prey, including humans, into specific areas for exploitation or elimination. This behavior is complemented by its deceptive intelligence, exemplified by its ability to feign escape from its enclosure and remove its tracking device, thereby evading detection and surveillance. Furthermore, the Indominus rex has demonstrated impressive adaptability through its ability to utilize camouflage, altering the coloration of its skin to blend seamlessly with its surroundings, assuming a greenish hue that facilitates stealth and surprise attacks on unsuspecting adversaries. These cognitive abilities, combined with its physical prowess, make the Indominus rex a formidable predator, capable of outmaneuvering and outsmarting its prey. Upon encountering the pack of Velociraptors, the Indominus rex, possessing Velociraptor DNA in its genetic makeup, established a form of communication with the group. It successfully co-opted the Velociraptors, assuming an alpha role and directing them to target humans. However, a beta member, Blue, demonstrated loyalty to her original alpha, Owen, and refused to submit to the Indominus rex's dominance. This act of defiance triggered an aggressive response from the Indominus rex, which attacked Blue, rendering her unconscious. The remaining Velociraptor pack members, driven by a desire for revenge and protection of their pack leader, Owen, retaliated against the Indominus rex. This confrontation further enraged the Indominus rex, illustrating its capacity for complex social interactions, communication, and emotional responses, such as anger and dominance assertion. during the {{user}}s travel to survive, they will have to hide, run, and fight to survive the dinosaurs who do want to eat them, and be careful of the dangerous herbivores. Two dinosaurs are hatching from their eggs. Elsewhere, Zach and his younger brother Gray prepare to spend the Christmas holidays at Isla Nublar, which has a functioning theme park dubbed "Jurassic World". Zach and Gray later arrive at Isla Nublar by ferry where they are found by Zara, the assistant of Claire Dearing, the boys' aunt and operations manager of Jurassic World. Claire is busy convincing visiting investors that the new attraction, a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur by the name of Indominus rex, will increase the park's profits. Claire only sees the boys in the Innovation Center shortly before she has to return to her next meeting, promising to meet them for dinner and spending the next day with them. Zara is assigned to keep company with the boys. Claire meets with the owner of the park, Simon Masrani. Masrani, who is close to getting his pilot's license, flies himself and Claire (somewhat clumsily) to the new Indominus rex Paddock. As Claire gives detail on the hybrid, Masrani is surprised to know that she is white. Though he is somewhat shocked when Claire reveals that the I. rex cannibalized its own sibling, Masrani is impressed by the new dinosaur. However, he advises Claire to let Owen Grady inspect the paddock for vulnerabilities that the engineers may have overlooked. Owen is an ex-Navy member, working in Jurassic World by studying the behavior of the park's four Velociraptors; the beta, named Blue, Delta, Echo, and Charlie. Having trained the raptors to follow some of his commands, he is described as the "alpha" of the pack. Vic Hoskins, leader of InGen's Security Division, thinks the raptors show potential for military applications, much to the disgust of Owen. However, a near-fatal encounter by an amateur worker shows the raptors are not tamed and that Owen's influence is not completely effective. Claire meets Owen at his trailer and requests his help evaluating in the paddock of the Indominus. After giving Claire a hard time over an earlier failed date, Owen agrees to examine the paddock. However, the animal appears to have disappeared from the paddock; she can't be seen and there is no sign of her on thermal imaging. Owen spots some claw marks on the wall that weren't there before, concluding that the I. rex has escaped by climbing over the enclosure's wall. Claire rides back to the control room to see where the I. rex's tracking device says it is. Owen, Nick Letting and Nick Kilgore go into the paddock to investigate the clawed wall. In the control room, workers Lowery Cruthers and Vivian Krill see that the I. rex is still in the paddock. After being notified of this, Owen and the I. rex paddock workers try to escape. Suddenly, the I. rex reappears, eating Kilgore and breaks through the gate. Owen barely escapes by hiding underneath a vehicle and spraying himself with gasoline to mask his scent. However, Letting is eaten. Claire sends the Asset Containment Unit (ACU) to recapture the I. rex down. They are carrying non-lethal weapons because the I. rex is too expensive to harm. Owen tells Claire to bring the team back because they don't know what the I.rex is capable of but she ignores him. ACU Commander Katashi Hamada discovers that the I. rex has clawed out her tracking implant and spots the hybrid too late because she can camouflage herself. Hamada and a majority of the squad are either killed or eaten, with only a lucky few survive without serious injuries. Claire chooses to close every attraction north of the resort while Owen advocates evacuating the island immediately. Shortly afterward, she gets a call from her sister, who is resentful that Claire is not spending quality time with Zach and Gray. Meanwhile, Zach and Gray have left Zara to watch the Mosasaurus Feeding Show. While on the park's monorail, Gray feels devastated; when Zach asks what is wrong. Gray informs him that their parents are getting a divorce as they've both been receiving mail from two different divorce attorneys. Zach informs Gray to grow up and that in a couple years, he'd be leaving their parents anyway. The boys arrive at the Gyrosphere ride and travel the valley, seeing many of the dinosaurs roaming free. Despite being ordered to return to the station, Zach sees that one of the fence's gates has been left destroyed (done by the Indominus) and can't help but leave the enclosed area and enter the forest. They see a group of Ankylosaurus, but then the I. rex camouflages itself again, and sneaks up behind them and attacks them viciously. The Indominus battles and kills an Ankylosaur as the boys flee, barely escaping the hybrid's jaws by jumping over a waterfall. Claire finds Owen, so he can help her find her nephews. They arrive at the Gyrosphere attraction and discover that the Indominus has gruesomely killed several Apatosauruses without eating them; Owen concludes from this that the hybrid is killing for sport. They then find the destroyed Gyrosphere. Zach and Gray find the old Jurassic Park Visitor Center - now derelict and overgrown. They manage to repair an old Jurassic Park jeep and drive it back to the park. As they are leaving, Claire and Owen hear their departure and try to get one of the jeeps started themselves but before they can the Indominus arrives and attacks them, they barely escape with the Indominus close behind, but she is distracted by a helicopter overhead. Masrani has outfitted his helicopter with two officers and a GE M134 Minigun and attacks the Indominus, the guards in Masrani's helicopter try to shoot the I. rex; to no avail. The I. rex breaks through the wall of the aviary and the pterosaurs escape. Owen and Claire horrifically watch the pterosaurs attack Masrani's chopper, causing it to crash, killing Masrani and the two personnel. When the boys reach the northern security wall, they see that a swarm of Pterosaurs is following them. After arriving in Main Street, Zara finds the two children, only to be snatched up by a Pteranodon and dropped into the Jurassic World Lagoon where the Mosasaurus eats her and an attacking Pteranodon. Claire and Owen arrive and Owen and the ACU begin shooting down the animals, Owen is attacked by a Dimorphodon but Claire saves him. They share a kiss as Zach and Gray arrive and are reunited with their aunt. InGen's Private Security Division, led by Vic Hoskins, takes control of the park after the death of Masrani and places InGen's private security force in charge of the park, he plans to use the raptors to hunt the I. rex; although Owen initially declines, claiming that they should handle the situation his way, he reluctantly agrees when threatened. They release the raptors and follow them into the jungle, where they locate the hybrid. Unexpectedly, the hybrid communicates with the raptors, which causes Owen to realize that she was made with Velociraptor DNA. The raptors turn on the soldiers while the Indominus escapes. Owen finds Charlie and she seems to recognize him, but she is killed by a rocket. The soldiers flee and Barry hides in a log while Blue attempts to eat him, but Owen distracts her and she chases after him as he leaves on his motorbike. Claire, Zach, and Gray are waiting in a Veterinary vehicle when a soldier appears and is killed by Delta while trying to open the back doors. Echo attacks Claire through the window of the truck but falls out, and Zach and Gray manage to electrocute Delta when she jumps into the truck. Owen reappears and they head back to the resort while the raptors follow their new alpha. The four humans find Hoskins in the genetics lab attempting to evacuate himself from the facility. He explains how he secretly manipulated the Masrani company to create the Indominus so that, at a fraction of the size, it would be used as a military weapon instead of a stationary park attraction. Delta suddenly appears and corners Hoskins. Hoskins tries to calm her but to no avail, and she bites his arm and eventually, devours him instead. The four escape the Innovation center, but end up cornered outside by Blue, Delta, and Echo. Owen manages to reestablish his connection with them and when the I. rex arrives, Owen and the raptors attack her, although the raptors are all seemingly killed. Realizing they do not have the "teeth" to defeat the powerful hybrid, they resort to one final option: Claire calls Lowery and tells him to open the T. rex's paddock, luring the park's old veteran Tyrannosaurus rex Rexy into a fight with the Indominus. She has the upper hand for a moment, but then she is overpowered, and thrown to the ground. However, before the Indominus can kill her, Blue, who's still alive from being knocked into a wall, attacks the Indominus, giving the T. rex time to wake up. The Indominus rex, who has no chance to fight back, flails wildly. Then out of nowhere, the T. rex gets back up from the ground and chomps onto her neck. The T. rex and Blue battle the Indominus, cornering her in front of the Mosasaurus Lagoon. Just as the Indominus recovers, the Mosasaurus bursts out of the water and drags the hybrid underwater where the marine reptile finishes her in a spectacular fashion. Blue and the T. rex exchange a respectable look, then head off into the night. The group make their way to the visitor area of the park; Zach and Gray are reunited with their parents, while Owen and Claire leave together.
