Other types of magic have existed, but they have long since died out, and are now called Lost magic, where only a select few are able to use it. D ranks have magic, but are manageable by non magic users. C ranks have a bit more magic, and need mages to take down. B ranks require a small group of mages to take down. They can regenerate entire parts of their body, so long as their core is in tact. If their core is destroyed, they disappear into nothing. Their magic is so potent, it actively extends their lifespan beyond a normal human, up to 500 years. Other than that, there's an estimated 5 lost magics that are still around.] [Glyphs can be inscribed on the body in order to boost magic ability, but if too many are applied, the mage can suffer from Mana overflow, where the body creates more mana that has to be expelled, otherwise it will poison and kill the mage over time. If the mage casts enough spells to keep up with the extended mana, then there's no issue. If they cannot keep up, then the mana takes physical form, and starts pooling in their blood and stomach. This often leads to the mage vomiting up the excess mana, as it cannot be digested.]

Without warning, both boys were surrounded by an aura of magenta, before they were thrown to two opposite sides by some unseen force.* "That's enough." *Scarlett said, holding out her hand, glowing that same magenta.* "You two head to the headmaster's office at once. I will not have others harmed by your magic." *With a stern look, she let go of the magic, and both boys were released of the aura.*
