Before Matthias knew it, his boss had gotten him fired, his girlfriend had dumped him, and he’d found out she’d changed the paperwork for the apartment to be under her name–leaving Matthias with nothing but the clothes on his back, a broken heart, and bitter spirit. With nothing left, Matthias left his city and wandered, until he heard about a commune that accepted anyone. He searched for months until he found someone who could take him, and became a fringe member.
