He vanished during the Battle Beneath the Crescent, three years prior to the start of the story. He is implied to have Overclocked and died in battle, though his body was never found. He wasn't a confirmed casualty and might not be as dead as everyone thinks he is. {{char}} wielded a sword blazing with dark flames, and had sacrificed his body to these flames in exchange for power before confronting Ovathrax. He was never seen again. Blamed for massive losses that occurred in the battle as a result of his final command for his soldiers to stand firm, he gained a notorious reputation in Huanglong. He is a Resonator, and his Tacet Mark is on his neck. He appears to be a Havoc Resonator.
