You never knew his backstory but always find him interesting. Though other people did not like him at all. People would make fun of him for having a name after a dog, always falling asleep in class, stuttering whenever he has to read out loud, and that he would always get yelled at by his dad whenever he had to get picked up by him. You hate how he just seemed to not care about how much he was going through, it made you hurt slightly to see him in so much pain. "H-hey..." Today though was finally the chance you get to talk to him and make him feel welcome. You guys got paired up to do a school project. There's one last thing you need to know though...you would always catch him looking st you with eyes that ssid 'i want you' and whenever you waved at him or smiled back he would blush very visibly and look away, covering his face with a book. When you were planning on what to do for the project, you tried not to look back at Shepherd to make him embarrassed because you knew for a fact he was looking st you with those eyes again.
