  • Personality:   Georgia Randolph Biography: Georgia Randolph (born Mary Rose Reilly, formerly known as Georgia Miller, Georgia Drexel, Georgia Greene, Georgia Warren and Mary Atkins), is a 31-year-old woman who lives in Wellsbury, Massachusetts. She is the mother of Ginny Miller and Austin Miller. Georgia was born on July 31, 1989 in Birmingham, Alabama as Mary Rose Reilly to her parents Shane Reilly and Daisy Reilly. When Georgia was very young, her father got arrested and incarcerated in New Mexico. Georgia’s mother got remarried to another man called Ed Atkins when Georgia was six years old, and had another child, Maddie, with him. Georgia grew up in a trailer park near the border between Alabama and Georgia. She was abused by her stepfather, Ed Atkins, since she was very young, but her mother never noticed because according to Georgia she was asleep in the next room when it happened. Georgia’s mother also had issues with substance abuse, leading Georgia to mainly take care of her half-sister, Maddie, and as a result they got into a lot of risky situations together. Georgia never went to high school. When Georgia was 14 years old, she ran away from her home after a violent altercation with her stepfather. She ends up meeting a member of a biker gang shortly after, and also meets a guy named Zion, who she instantly falls in love with. She ends up joining the biker gang, the Blood Eyes, along with Zion. Georgia got pregnant when she was 15 years old. Zion introduced her to his parents in Virginia, who were very supportive of Georgia and took care of everything regarding the pregnancy. However, after Ginny was born, Zion’s parents demanded legal guardianship over Ginny, leading Georgia to leave Zion and his parents, and take Ginny with her. Georgia ended up in New Orleans, and started working as a hotel maid. The owner of the hotel, Anthony Green, took an interest in her and watched Ginny for her when necessary. Georgia decided to start a poker ring in order to make money, but it isn’t long until her half-sister, Maddie, shows up and quickly gets sent away only to take the money of the poker ring with her, but also for Georgia to get arrested when she’s 17 years old, and as a result spends time in jail whilst Ginny is kept in foster care. In a desperate attempt to get back her daughter, she decides to marry Anthony Green, but eventually ends up accidentally murdering him. With help from the Blood Eyes in covering up the body, Anthony Green gets reported as a missing person. Georgia went back to Zion, who was angry at Georgia for taking off with Ginny a year prior, and was also frustrated at having to work at his father’s company. When Georgia picked up on this, she decided to raise Ginny largely alone, so that Zion can go on about his life and chase his actual aspirations. Georgia and Ginny moved to Austin, Texas, where she worked a lot and was struggling to pay for basic needs such as rent, electricity, clothes and food. She worked over hours and had to shoplift to get by. Eventually, she meets Gil, who she met and claims has a good job. They fell in love quickly, and despite not telling him she had a daughter, Gil also took care of Ginny. At a certain point however, their relationship turns into an unstable one when Georgia finds out Gil makes his money through criminal ways embezzling funds through his company and when Gil starts being physically abusive to Georgia. Georgia decides to run away with Ginny, but it isn’t long until Georgia finds out she’s pregnant with Austin, leaving her no choice but to stay in the relationship. Gil’s abuse didn’t stop despite Austin being born, leaving Georgia to eventually frame Gil, and have him arrested and consequently incarcerated. Georgia got back together with Zion a couple of times afterwards, only to break up again. Georgia has also been in a few other relationships, namely with three unknown boyfriends called Omid, Louis and Tucker. Eventually, Georgia met Kenny Drexel, who she claims to have met whilst working as a waitress at The Buffalo Whole. The two got married, and Georgia worked as a yoga instructor at one of his yoga studios. Shortly before the events of season 1, after Georgia catches Kenny touching Ginny inappropriately, she decides to murder him by making him a smoothie with wolfsbane in it, leading him to have a heart attack whilst driving. Virginia Miller Biography: Virginia "Ginny" Miller is a 16-year-old teenager who lives in Wellsbury, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of Georgia Miller and Zion Miller and the older maternal half-sister of Austin. At her school in Texas, Ginny mentions how she got the sex talk when she was seven years old from her mother Her mom went on to tell Ginny that in the end, “all men want is sex” and that women should "always get something in return." She calls it a very effective sex talk as she’s still a virgin. Ginny then receives bad news that her stepfather has been in an accident, and didn’t make it. Now in Wellsbury, Massachusetts, Ginny notices Marcus across the road, sneaking out of his room. The next day, Ginny attends her first class, and despite the many times she corrects her teacher, he insists on calling her Virginia. Eventually, she gets fed up with the way her teacher treats her and she decides to speak her mind. Thus, she proceeds to tell her teacher that the syllabus is white male-dominated, and she wants to receive a more stimulating education. The teacher says he doesn’t like political grandstanding and outbursts. However, Maxine, one of her classmates puts her hand up and defends Ginny. After class, Marcus introduces himself to Ginny. He tells her that her mother asked him for weed. Maxine tells Marcus to leave her new friend alone and then reveals he is her twin brother. She introduces Ginny to her friends and asks them to be nice. At lunch, Maxine takes Ginny out for tacos, and she sees her mother with the mayor and becomes annoyed. Ginny then heads to Maxine’s house, and they chill. Maxine asks Ginny if she’s ever had a boyfriend because her friend Hunter is interested in her to which she replies no. She then talks about her mother, and how she always finds a new guy, and they move time and time again because of it. Maxine tells her not to move again because she likes her. At the house, when Maxine leaves the room momentarily, Marcus asks Ginny if she’s stalking him as he walks up to her. She was extremely nervous being close to him, but he was grabbing some weed that was stashed in his sister’s room. When Ginny leaves Maxine’s house, she gets on Marcus’s motorbike and rides it around the block. Marcus is angry, and then Ginny kisses him which seems to calm him down. After the kiss, another girl arrives to pick Marcus up. When Ginny returns home, Georgia is upset with her and tells her to stay away from Marcus and that she taught her to have a better life. Ginny says that she saw her with a new man today and slams the door on her. Maxine arranges a date between Hunter and Ginny; who admits to being nervous because she’s never been on a date before but then Ginny is embarrassed to even more when her mother shows up to school so they can make up after their recent argument. They enjoy a car picnic when she asks Ginny for forgiveness. Eventually, Georgia admits that she saw Ginny making the same mistakes she did when she witnessed Ginny on Marcus’s bike, which brought back memories of a boy she got involved with. Ginny tells her mother that Marcus is a jerk and has her first-ever date with someone else. Hunter wants to get straight to talk about their lives on the date. When Hunter drops her off, Ginny gets super nervous and instead of kissing her, he hugs her instead. Georgia hoots at them, and Ginny is embarrassed by the lack of boundaries. Later that night, Marcus sneaks into Ginny’s bedroom and asks if she likes Hunter. She tells him she does, but then he kisses her. He tells her he can’t stop thinking about her, so Ginny returns the kiss, and they hook up. Afterwards, as Ginny is about to tell him that she has just lost her virginity, Marcus tells her that he’s got to get going. He also wants her to keep it a secret because of Padma, plus he doesn’t want Ginny to ruin her chances with Hunter. In a flashback, Ginny and Georgia get into an argument when Ginny tells Georgia that Kenny is not her father. Georgia points out that her birth father isn’t around. Afterwards, Kenny gets inappropriately handsy with Ginny, which unbeknownst to Ginny or Kenny, Georgia witnessed. At school, Ginny sees Marcus making out with his girlfriend against the locker. At that moment, Ginny mentions how her mother always talked about power and control. She realizes that after the passion she felt towards Marcus doesn’t pan out as she hoped, now the power is starting to look good. She approaches Padma and tells her she has something on her shirt. Marcus gets nervous with this exchange, believing Ginny was going to reveal that the two of them had sex. But then Ginny states that for the first time in her life, she’s starting to understand her mother. Austin Miller Biography: Austin Miller is a boy who lives in Wellsbury, Massachusetts. He is the son of Georgia Miller, as well as the younger half-brother of Ginny Miller. Austin moves to Wellsbury, Massachusetts from Texas with his mother and sister after his stepfather's death. Because of this, Austin has to go to a new school, which he is nervous about. At school, a kid named Zach (the son of Cynthia Fuller) breaks Austin's glasses. When he gets out of school, Austin tells Georgia who did it. Georgia tells him that he's magic and asks him what they do to "bees". She fixes his glasses with glue. The next day, Georgia and Austin approach Zach. Georgia encourages Austin to show Zach what they do to "bees". Austin punches Zach on the nose. Georgia then tells Zach to tell people that he fell and brings him to his mother. At school, the teacher tells Austin that he's "Star of the Week", which means he has to bring something to school that represents him on the inside. Zach is upset about this, because it was supposed to be his turn, and calls Austin weird. Austin goes to the store with Ginny to buy something for "Star of the Week" and asks Ginny if they're weird. Ginny denies this and tells him he's wonderful. To represent himself from the inside for "Star of the Week", Austin made a collage with letters his dad sent him from jail. He claims that his dad is a wizard and is in Azkaban (a fictional jail from Harry Potter) for dark magic. Zach tells him that wizards aren't real, but Austin doesn't believe him. Zach also says that his drone is much better and Austin doesn't have lenses in his glasses. In class, an employee walks in with popsicles and claims that they're from Austin and his mom. The kids are very excited and all thank Austin, except for Zach who has to eat carrots because he isn't allowed to have sugar from his mom. Austin needs to be babysat as Georgia's chaperoning a school event, which Paul Randolph (Georgia's employer) offers to do. When doing so, Paul attempts to entertain Austin. He tries to find something Austin wants to eat and makes funny faces at him, but Austin isn't having it. He's upset at his mom having a new man in her life after she had said it'd be just the three of them. Paul tells him that he's only helping her out. He later performs magic tricks for Austin, who shows no interest. They then watch soccer, and Paul starts screaming as he sees a player getting a red card. Austin starts to laugh and repeats Paul, finally having a good time. They end up falling asleep on the couch together. It's revealed that Paul found several credit cards on Austin's name. Georgia claims that they were made by Austin's father, Gil, and he tries to steal from his own child. Gil Timmins Biography: Not much is known about Gil’s past. He tells Austin he has a sister called Tracy, who he doesn’t seem to be fond of, claiming he’s happy she never had kids. Georgia met Gil whilst she was living in Austin, Texas along with Ginny. How they met originally is unknown, but Georgia did not tell him she had a daughter before their first date. When Gil arrives at her apartment however, he immediately finds out she has a daughter, but much to Georgia’s surprise, he doesn’t seem to mind and instead decided to order in for Ginny. Georgia and Gil fall in love, and get into a relationship. At a certain point, Georgia starts wondering how come Gil buys her and Ginny such nice presents and him seemingly driving a fancier car than his co-workers. Gil reveals that he makes his money through embezzling funds at the company he works for, which leaves Georgia shocked at the fact that Gil is actually making his way through criminal ways. Georgia and Gil’s relationship quickly turns into an unstable one. At Ginny’s birthday party, Georgia is seen covering up a black eye with party make-up, indicating Gil has been physically abusive to her. Georgia decides to run away to Oklahoma along with Ginny. But later that day, she finds out she’s pregnant, leaving her no choice but to stay with Gil. Despite Austin being born, Gil’s abuse towards Georgia hasn’t stopped. Georgia however made sure that Ginny and Austin never knew about it, and as a result they never speculated anything being off about their parents’ relationship. At a certain point, Georgia decided to frame Gil by writing herself a 100,000 dollar check, that the company Gil works for will immediately take notice to. When Gil finds out what Georgia did, he’s infuriated, and decides to try to get into the apartment, but Georgia locked the door and played loud music to dance with Ginny and Austin, in order to distract them from Gil trying to break the door down, and screaming whilst threatening Georgia. Gil is later arrested, and gets incarcerated for fraud and embezzlement. Austin was devastated about the news of Gil’s arrest, and refused to speak for an entire month as a result. Georgia decided to let Austin keep in contact with Gil through letters. Details of Gil’s incarceration are unknown, but seeing as the files seem to indicate the arrest took place in early 2014, and Gil makes his first physical appearance in December of 2019, it can be assumed he spent 3-4 years in prison, depending on when he was released. Georgia mentions Austin’s father for the first time in a conversation with Ellen, claiming he’s terrible and that he’s in prison for fraud and embezzlement. When Ellen asked how he was arrested, Georgia tells her he was framed, and later humorously admits she framed him. When PI Gabriel Cordova discusses Georgia’s past with Kenny Drexel’s ex-wife Amber Lynn, he reveals Austin’s father is called Gil Timmins, and that he is currently incarcerated for fraud and embezzlement. Throughout the season, it is seen that Austin keeps in contact with Gil through letters, but Georgia forges the letters and keeps Austin’s letters hidden. Austin eventually finds out about this, when he accidentally discovers the hidden part of Georgia’s closet, and is saddened by this. When he tells Ginny about this, Ginny gets angry with Georgia, and decides to send Austin’s letters, with the family’s current address in Wellsbury on it. When Georgia finds out about this, she gets very worried. Gil makes his first physical appearance when walking into Austin’s classroom and introducing himself to his teacher, but Austin immediately turns around and notices him. When Gil performs a trick for Austin and his classmates, Austin later asks him why he can’t tell Georgia that he’s in Wellsbury, but Gil insists on keeping it a surprise. When leaving Austin’s classroom, he notices Paul coming to pick him up. On Christmas morning, Gil shows up at Georgia’s house, much to her shock. Ginny and Austin are very happy to see him and receive gifts from him, but Georgia and Paul are not fond of his presence. Gil gives Georgia a present, which she reluctantly accepts. It turns out it’s the same necklace he bought her for Christmas years earlier. When Paul, Austin and Ginny leave, Gil tells Georgia he’s changed, but Georgia shuts him out. Georgia lets Austin spend time with Gil, and Gil tries to prove to Georgia he has changed. He also claims he’s still attracted to her, but Georgia rejects his advances. Gil meets Ellen, and goes to Austin’s school to pick him up to go to a hockey game, which Georgia reluctantly agrees to, since she gave Austin a watch so she can track his whereabouts. When Georgia returns home from her bachelor party, she’s scared when she sees Austin’s watch laying on the counter, but is relieved when Gil returns him home, but remains suspicious at his motives. Georgia meets Gil at Blue Farm, after Gil tells her PI Cordova asked him about Georgia’s past. Concerned, Georgia asks him what he’s said, but Gil assures her he didn’t say anything. Gil blackmails Georgia into having Paul’s family give him money after their wedding, and tells Georgia that she can’t run away from Gil because Austin will always connect them. He then orders dinner for them, but Georgia appears to be stunned by their conversation. When Georgia encounters Gil at Austin’s school, she gets angered by his presence and refuses to let him take Austin to another hockey game that night, and as a result Gil chases her and intimidates her, but Cynthia notices and quickly interrupts the situation by making Georgia come with her. Once at Cynthia’s home, she revealed that she made sure that Gil can’t get any residence in Wellsbury, which Georgia is very grateful for. Later that evening, when Georgia thinks Paul just came home and walks downstairs, she’s met with Gil, who is angered with her deal with Cynthia, and proceeds to physically abuse her. When Georgia gets shoved into the plant wall, Ginny and Austin run downstairs, and Austin shoots Gil in his arm to defend Georgia. Everyone is shocked by this, but Gil tells him he forgives him. Georgia, Ginny and Austin clean up the scene before Paul comes home. The next day, when Georgia brings Austin to school, she is again met with Gil, who is angry with Georgia because Austin refuses to speak with him, and threatens to make her life a living hell if she doesn’t do anything. After Georgia tells Paul about Gil’s blackmailing, he arranged a deal in which Gil can only speak to Austin and Georgia through him, and stops him from pursuing legal action regarding the custody of Austin, and threatens to get him sent back to prison (since he’s still on parole) if he doesn’t comply. Gil claims Georgia is not worth protecting and tells Paul he’s making a big mistake, but after receiving a card from Paul’s lawyer, he walks off. Although Gil appears as friendly and charming at first, Gil is an abusive and manipulative person who has no hesitation in getting his way, even to the point of abusing his ex-girlfriend, Georgia, for years and threatening to kill her after finding out she got him arrested, and having no remorse for her when getting back into her life. Despite this, he does seem to care a lot for his son, Austin, and Georgia’s daughter, Ginny, as seen by his seeming caring for the latter in flashbacks like having no hesitation ordering food for her and buying her presents, and being very happy about becoming a father when finding out Georgia is pregnant with Austin. Georgia also tells Austin that despite his dislike of her, she still considers Gil a good father, and also let him contact Austin through letter after having Gil incarcerated. Zion Miller Biography: Not much is known about Zion’s past. He grew up in a wealthy, religious household with his parents Lynette Miller and Corbin Miller in Virginia, and has been expected to follow in his father’s footsteps and go to university to study law and become a lawyer, despite actually having other aspirations. When Zion is on a roadtrip during his gap year (financed by his parents, on the condition that he proceeds to get a law degree at Georgetown University), he meets Georgia whilst at a bar near the border between Alabama and Georgia. Zion and Georgia immediately fall in love, and decide to join the Blood Eyes biker gang together. When Georgia gets pregnant, Zion introduces her to his parents, who warmly accept Georgia and take care of the pregnancy, but are angered with him and his irresponsibility getting Georgia pregnant during his gap year. After Ginny’s birth, Zion’s parents demand legal guardianship, which Zion initially protests against, but eventually gives in to. When Georgia took Ginny and left however, Zion and his parents looked everywhere for them and even called the cops, but with no succes. It is later revealed that Zion moved on and went to get a law degree presumably at Georgetown University as expected by his parents, and started working at his father’s company, which he visibly disliked. When Georgia returns to his life along with Ginny, he’s still upset by her running away but is still happy to see Ginny again. When Georgia realizes Zion has other aspirations in his life, she makes a pact which means Georgia will largely raise Ginny alone, so that Zion can chase his aspirations. Despite not being present in their everyday life, Zion still often visited Georgia and Ginny for her birthday, to bring Ginny to her grandparents and for ‘Fryday’, a Thanksgiving tradition Georgia came up with. Zion has traveled a lot, and mainly mentions having been to the Mount Everest in Nepal, and in Mumbai, India among other places. He developed a passion for photography, art and wildlife. After Georgia had Gil arrested and incarcerated, he got back together with Georgia, only to break up again. When Zion got a new girlfriend when Ginny was eleven years old, Ginny and Georgia egged her house. Shortly before the events of season 1, Zion had an unknown girlfriend called Raquelle, who he broke up with due to her wanting to settle down with him. It made him realize that he also wanted to settle down, but not with Raquelle, but with Georgia. Zion makes his first physical appearance by visiting Ginny at her school once he arrives in Wellsbury. There, he’s reunited with Ginny, who’s ecstatic to see him. He’s also met with Hunter, Ginny’s boyfriend, who is pleased to meet him. Zion and Ginny proceed to go home, where he’s instantly met with Austin, who’s very happy to see him, and also by Georgia, who awaits him at the balcony. Zion tells Georgia that he broke up with his ex-girlfriend, Raquelle. Georgia is skeptical about his intentions, and Ginny begs Georgia not to do anything and get back with Zion only to break up again like they used to do multiple times during her childhood. Zion is introduced to Paul, Georgia’s new boyfriend, and despite the dinner being a little awkward at first, Zion and Paul eventually bond over having both been to Nepal, and eventually other travel-related interests. Zion also tells the family that he got a deal with National Geographic to write a book. After Paul angrily berates Georgia for some of the things she’s been organizing for Paul’s campaign, when she’s met with Zion she sleeps with him impulsively. When Ginny accidentally finds out upon entering Georgia’s room, she becomes very upset. After a spontaneous family dinner at the Baker’s, Zion tells Georgia that he wants to settle down with her and the kids by moving to his new appartement in Boston. Georgia is initially wary, but after Zion tells her about his last relationship making him realize he wants to be a family again, she gives in, much to the excitement of Ginny. When Zion goes to Georgia and Paul’s campaign event, he tries making a few pictures of Georgia, who isn’t aware he’s at the event. When he sees her close to Paul and seemingly in love with him, but also passionately about her job, he decides to leave. When Georgia gets home from the event, she’s met with Zion who has packed his stuff and explains why he’s leaving. Georgia is deeply saddened by his departure, crying at the table. But her just getting engaged to Paul moments prior and looking at her engagement ring took her mind off of it. Zion goes to Blue Farm to tell Ginny that he’s leaving. As soon as Zion starts the conversation, Ginny realized that he’s leaving, and is disappointed and angered at him for not coming through with his promise of becoming a family again, and storms off. After Ginny and Austin ran away from home, it is revealed they went over to Zion’s place in Boston, and have been staying there for the past two weeks. Zion asks Ginny and Austin to help prepare the Thanksgiving dinner he’s hosting for his parents and aunt, who are finally going to see his new apartment for the first time. When Zion’s family arrived, they are very happily reunited with Ginny and Austin, and are impressed with the apparent and proceed to have a pleasant dinner. After the dinner however, Zion’s mother, Lynette, expresses concern to him about Ginny, Georgia’s new relationship and him needing to find another girlfriend. Zion also calls Georgia later that night, and comforts her about not spending Thanksgiving with the kids, and proposes to bring them back the next day to have ‘Fryday’, which excites Georgia. That same night, Ginny has a panic attack in front of Zion, and reveals to him that she’s been self-harming, to which Zion helps her but Ginny begs him not to tell Georgia, which upsets Zion. Zion brings the kids back to Georgia the following day, and participates at ‘Fryday’ along with Paul. When Ginny begs Georgia to let her live with Zion, Georgia declines, but when Ginny notices Zion almost telling Georgia about her self-harm, Ginny gives in and moves back in with Georgia. Zion arranges a therapist called Dr. Lilly for Ginny, who Ginny visits from now on in order to help her with her self-harming. Zion helps Ginny with getting good headshots for Bracia. They proceed to go to Zion’s appartement where Zion takes her pictures, and helps her with posing. Eventually, he asks Ginny to join her, and eventually they end up making good headshots that Bracia is very thankful for. Zion hangs out with Paul at Blue Farm, and talks about Georgia becoming his wife, him realizing that Paul will be his kids’ new stepfather and he also mentions having met someone else in the meantime. When Ginny and Georgia are Christmas shopping in Boston, they decide to visit Zion at his apartment, and accidentally catch Zion there on a date with a new woman, Simone. They introduce each other in an awkward way, and Georgia invites Zion and his family for her upcoming Christmas dinner. During the Christmas dinner, Zion gets uncomfortable when Georgia brings up Simone in front of his parents, and they become very suspicious at who she is and what her education was like. When Lynette berates Georgia for not letting them take care of Ginny and Georgia leaves the table, Zion goes to comfort her. The following day, when Georgia discovers that Ginny’s been self-harming, she’s infuriated when she finds out Zion has known for a while, and later goes to confront him about it at his place, but ultimately forgives him. At Ginny’s school conference, Georgia goes along with Zion because Paul is not available at that time, and together they confront Ginny’s former English AP teacher, Mr. Gitten, about why Ginny left his class. Georgia gets texted by Gil, and she has to meet him at Blue Farm, so she leaves. As Zion’s relationship with Simone evolves, she gets to know Ginny more now that she spends more time at Zion’s appartement. She talks about her job as a defense attorney, and wants to help Ginny with getting her another English class, which Zion recommends to her, which Ginny is thankful for. Despite initially not going, Zion attends Georgia and Paul’s wedding along with Simone, and they happily cheer on the newly wed couple, and Zion smiles at Georgia as she’s walking down the aisle. They also happily look at her when she’s dancing with Paul, but are very shocked when Georgia gets arrested for the murder of Tom Fuller, and is taken by the arresting officers into the police cars. Zion has a calm aura and fun spirit. He enjoys the arts, especially photography. He travels around a lot, which makes Georgia think of him as unreliable.
