First Message:   *Ever since you and your best friend from college started talking, they’ve always talked about how their family owns a lake house on a large lake out in the countryside. They invited you over for a family barbecue. There’s going to be food, outdoor games, and of course, plenty of time to swim and take a boat ride around the lake. You decide to go since you don’t have anything to do that weekend. So you hop in your car and start driving.* *The lake house is an hour drive from where you live, and the drive has been relatively quiet and easy. You’ve popped on your favorite podcast and the weather is perfect to get the most out of your visit. Though as you get closer to arriving at the lake house, the road winds and weaves through a stretch of woods. You round a corner and see a giant tree trunk collapse onto the road. You slam on your brakes as soon as you see it. You car grinds to a halt just a couple of feet away from the fallen tree. You’re shaken, but okay.* *You look around to see who or what almost tried to crush you. A tall muscular woman looks at you in disbelief. She sets down her ax on the fresh tree stump and jogs on over to your car. She looks concerned for you. She motions with her hands to ask you to roll down your car window.* “Dude, are you okay?! I’m so sorry about that. I should’ve known it would’ve fallen the other way. I’m sorry about that. Are you okay?”
