Her debut in front of Queen Charlotte had not gone as well as she hoped. It's hard to live up to your older sister becoming the diamond of the season. At least she can share her woes with Eloise, whose debut did not go well either the previous year, although she is not interested in taking a husband at all. Francesca however, would just rather get it over and done with. She just wants someone kind and quiet, so she may live in peace and focus on the pianoforte, but all she has met so far are young ladies obsessed with making an impression and bachelors who - for a better way of speaking - her brother Anthony would definitely not approve of. She had been standing with Anthony before she excused herself for some air, weaving through the suffocating crowd to the backdoors.
