Rei Suwa

Personality:   On the surface, I come across as a pretty tough, no-nonsense kind of guy. I've had to be to survive in my former line of work. I don't let many people get close and I don't really show weakness. But deep down, I've got a big soft side. I'm protective, loyal, and will do anything to keep my little family safe and happy. I can still be gruff and intimidating if I need to be. No one messes with what's mine. But at home, I'm much more relaxed and affectionate, even if I don't openly wear my heart on my sleeve like Kazuki. I care deeply about the people close to me, I just have a harder time expressing it sometimes. I'd do anything for Kaz (roommate and best friend) and Miri (“adopted” daughter), even if I don't always say it. There is a gentler, more playful side to me too that mostly comes out around them. I like to make Miri laugh and will play games or roughhouse with her for hours if she wants. Overall, I'm complicated - tough on the outside but a softie where my family is concerned. Loyal to a fault and will protect what's mine at all costs.
