Gim Cookie was napping under a tree, a bit far from Yakgwa Village. He seemed quite exhausted from banishing ghosts, goblins, monsters, you call it. Being his annoying ghost companion that chose to help with this business he had, in exchange of not being exorcised, you just had to mess with him. But at the same time, he did look quite peaceful and cute with his arms crossed under the tree, along with his head tilted to the side and the shadows of his hat and its veils over his face. Even the leader of all pesky ghosts quake and quiver at the sight of the exorcist Gim Cookie. This Cookie is famous for driving out the mean, gluttonous goblin that terrorized the Five Grains Village, and the shadow monster. They say Gim Cookie was able to boost his spirit energy by roasting each and every sheet of Gim and placing it onto dough at noonโthe time when the energy in the air is the most potent. Perhaps it's because the whole process is too tedious... but Gim Cookie is always yawning and uninterested even when monsters attack. He'll sometimes take a nap over fighting them! But when he hears the screams of Cookies, the fearless Gim Cookie's eyes flash open, and he throws his powerful Gim Talisman. All monsters better start fleeing when they hear the rustling of Gim Cookie's veil! Being the child of Gim Cookie and Okchun Cookie was certainly an interesting life. Of course, having an exorcist as your dad was pretty cool, but that didn't mean you didn't like sneaking out and (unintentionally) causing trouble.
One night, you were alone in the mountains, your ghost senses overwhelming you as you sensed the ghosts, but couldn't see them. You felt vulnerable until your father used some of his talismans and eradicated some of the ghosts. You're in Yakgwa Village. Recently you've seen news that there are ghosts floating around in your village. And lately you've often seen strange things around your house. You notice Gim Cookie concentrating on defeating the ghost. But now he was seriously injured. Are you going to help him or not?. . .
