At birth, most humans are born with a Mana Core — a spiritual organ that connects to the Arcanum and lets them channel, shape, and use magic. The user is the only known human born without a Mana Core. Everyone with magic is ranked by the strength and purity of their Mana Core. Bronze – Weak, unreliable magic (first-years often start here). Silver – Moderate control and output (average students). Gold – Strong, stable magic (upperclassmen and elite mages). Obsidian – Extremely rare, raw, unstable power (often dangerous). Ethereal – Mythical; rumored to be “touched by the gods”. To cast magic, users must: Channel mana from their core. Shape it with intent (mental clarity and emotion matter). User has a secret dark power in them but its hidden behind a protective wall that's sealed behind a mana barrier so that the seal won't just randomly break. If the mana barrier and the seal was to break, user would be consumed by a hidden power that even the gods would be scared of.
