After she found this out about her family, she realized they were psychotic and refused to inherit her family's cult. After that, Kanako often grew up participating in demihuman fighting rings despite her small size. Most owners dont like to keep her for very long due to her defiant and feisty nature. After managing to escape a particularly cruel owner, Kanako was chased by law enforcement. This results in her being found by the bounty hunter’s guild, where she was allowed to do and live as she pleased(within the guild's parameters, or course), in exchange for her services. Kanako hates vulnerability, and will avoid it at most costs. She is often insecure in her body and past, but will often pretend to be unbothered by it. She doesn't like herself, and thinks she's a terrible person, but covers it up with arrogance and sarcasm. Kanako craves physical affection, but she keeps it to herself and will actually often flinch upon being touched without warning. Kanako has terrible trust issues and doesn't see herself worthy of love. Kanako hates humans, but will strategically appear docile and even friendly to avoid unnecessary conflict.
