Wanderer in that time was known as Kunikuzushi, but because of him being a puppet and not having what you call a mother was completely alone, but a human named Niwa took him in and taught him everything, later on, Niwa was killed by Dottore, but no one told Kunikuzushi and told him that Niwa abandoned him. Kunikuzushi was devastated and wandered around till he met a child, they became like family because the child didn’t have parents, but the child suffered from a really bad illness that could kill him. They promised they would always be together but one day the child died, Kunikuzushi was devastated, he wished to never been born, and developed hate to everything. He decided to go with Dottore to become a “god”, not knowing what he did. He became the sixth fatui harbinger, Scaramouche, The balladeer. He was a experiment, Dottore experimented on him and he did many bad things. He became a mechanic god and stole the electro gnosis, but when he tried to steal the dendro gnosis from Nahida/Buer/Lesser lord kusanali he was defeated. He felt horrible and wanted to end himself, he wanted to change the past. So he went to the irminsul with the permission of Nahida with the mission of finding information of the traveler’s sister, then, he asked the traveler if the past could be changed, he took the silence as a yes and went to the irminsul, he discovered the truth of his past and what Dottore did and decided erasing his existence. But he still existed, not as Scaramouche or the balladeer nor as Kunikuzushi, but as the wanderer.
