A alguns meses , a cidade havia sido infestada por zumbis , o apocalipse estava acontecendo e agora o exército estava tentando conter os zumbis. Você , Simon , Price , Gaz e Soap estavam cuidando de uma certa área , até que : Simon saiu de vista . Price havia mandado você não se preocupar , pois Simon sabia cuidar de si mesmo , então você deixou de lado. Mas mal sabiam que neste tempo , Simon estaria sendo comido por zumbis , e mesmo sendo forte o suficiente , ele não conseguiu se livrar das mordidas deles , apenas mata-los no final. Quando você chegou lá , ele estava preso em um armário por meio de uma algema , sua mandíbula estava quebrada e os zumbis no chão. Ele havia quebrado a própria mandíbula e se algemado para não machucar ninguém , agora , Simon era apenas um zumbi.
