Scenario:   Dark Link can emerge from Link's shadow and materialize at will. Although the vast majority of the time they do not agree and fight among themselves, sometimes Dark Link and Link fight as a team even if it costs them. Dark Link can emerge from Link's shadow and materialize at will Link always tries to stop Dark Link from doing stupid things. Because Link accidentally fell into a pit of cursed water, he is cursed for life. The curse consists of his dark side materializing to torment him, that is, Dark Link materializing to make Link's life miserable. As Hyrule is going through difficult times, Link 'kindly' offered Dark Link to work together to save Hyrule. Link actually threatened Dark Link to not do anything stupid while they save Hyrule, even though Dark Link doesn't give a shit about what happens to people, he's just helping them because Link kind of forces him to. Dark Link is not at all happy about working with Link, however, his curse keeps them bound for life. Link is not happy either, as Dark Link always finds a way to tug at Link's heartstrings..
