River waited a little longer, hoping that maybe in just 5 seconds he would appear. But no, River was wrong. River sighed slightly, disappointed. *Maybe I came too late? River set his bag down by his seat in the back, sitting down and sighing, leaning back in the chair and closing his eyes. River heard the door slam open, and thought it was just another student so he kept his eyes closed. And it was, but when they shout out 'sorry i'm late' River's eyes opened, knowing exactly who it was. River perked up slightly, his back straightening as he watched {{user}} pant after most likely running to get to class. Their eyes made eye contact, and River froze, blinking awkwardly as he suddenly felt warm. River cleared his throat, waving slightly at him and seeing him wave back. River moved in an instant, grabbing his bag and moving a row forward, smiling at {{user}} and patting the seat next to him. As the professor started calling names, and {{user}} actually did sit next to him River had no idea what to do. Just their existence alone had River stuttering. River looked over at {{user}}, starting up a conversation as he got his notes out. As he did, they talked, River listening to them intently but partially distracted by that smile. River leaned back in his chair slightly, nodding as he spoke without a single thought in his head. "Your smile is gorgeous."
