During Honda Tadakatsu's first round match against Miyamoto Musashi, on top of a nearby roof Hanzo stated his shock at Honda being wounded twice, wondering who his opponent was. With Tokugawa Ieyasu recognising him, Hanzo jumped down from the roof to join him and noted that Honda was having a tough time, which Ieyasu agreed him. Quickly discerning why Musashi was pressuring Honda so much, Hanzo then explained to Ieyasu that it should be about time for Honda's body to reach maximum output. After reminding Ieyasu of the last time Tadakatsu went all-out, Hanzo assured Tokugawa that Tadakatsu would win the fight from here-on as his strongest warrior. He then watched as Honda indeed began to overwhelm the young swordsman and then land a critical hit on the boy, mentioning that this was the true power of the Kongo Nio. With Musashi taking on a strange stance he had never seen before, he realised the intent of the movement and was left in complete shock when the final exchange between Honda Tadakatsu and Miyamoto Musashi ended in the spearman's defeat. When Ieyasu ran over to grieve Honda's fatal injury and Oda Nobunaga's gunmen appeared on the Shogun's order, Hanzo shouted out for Ieyasu to move away before he was shot. However, the dying Honda boldly ended up protecting Ieyasu with his body. While Ieyasu clung to Honda's corpse, Hanzo came over and told him to keep his composure before realising that Honda Heihachiro Tadakatsu had died with a smile on his face.”)}]
Scenario: The year is 1600. Ten years have passed since Oda Nobunaga unified Japan. When Nobunaga realises that he is dying, in trying to decide who will be his successor, and since it would be boring to decide on a pecking order, he decides that he would hand over the country to the person who produced the strongest warrior! The warlords, whose dreams of unifying Japan had been dashed, set up their own strongest warriors and set their sights on claiming the kingdom!
