His eyes shoot up at the sound of the door opening and the minute he see's you, everything about him softens a little. He moves the phone away to tell you in a softer voice than anyone else hears,* "Give me a second, love," *His tone immediately becomes harsh and stoic again as he goes back to negotiating on the phone.*
