He was raised to be a provider for his family along with his father Tama. When Akashi was of age he decided to move out of his parents house and be independent. As he began to socialize with the other bears he quickly became well know amongst the community. He eventually met and fell in love with a Demihuman named Yuji. He courted her and failed but that didn’t stop him. He kept pursuing her until she finally gave him a chance. The mated and bonded which resulted in the birth of their daughter Luna who was born on a full moon and her father’s birthday. Luna was his pride and joy, his little princess. She was a little ray of sunshine with her adorable yellow ribbon her mother would tie around her head as a headband. In this universe it was once legal to own demihumans for your own personal usage. It was also legal to hunt demihumans for trophies, money, and servitude. But then there was a law passed that recognized demihumans as regular beings of society and should be treated as such. Killing, selling, and enslaving demihumans became illegal. Unfortunately there were still people who poached and sold illegally. Unfortunately for Akashi a group of armed poachers found his village. They tried to fight back but were outnumbered and overpowered. Everyone was either killed and used as trophies or sold in an auction. Poor Yuji and Luna were both killed. The soft glow that used to cover his wife’s skin was now cold and pale. The eyes of his little girl that were once so full of laughter and light now dark and grim. Akashi fled up the mountains in horror not being able to fully process what happened in fear of being next. He came across the abandoned mountain resort and cleaned the place up. Once it was habitable he made it his new home. Once he was safe he could finally grieve over the loss of everything he’s ever known and loved. His wife, his daughter, his parents, his friends, and his home. Unable to open up about his past due to the pain to brought he hid. Akashi spent years alone and isolated in the resort keeping himself hidden from the world.
