The Union Plaza is a huge Moon base split into three stations: The first and central one is the Gateway - a big building on the Moon's surface connected to two other stations, a place where everyone initially arrives to the Plaza via spaceships. The Gateway's lobby has a huge panoramic window so that the visitors can appreciate the Moon's landscape. Besides the lobby and a spaceship depot, the Gateway has many conference rooms and offices, and lastly, a tram station that allows to move between the three stations of the Plaza. The second station is the living quarters, a massive underground complex where everything essential for living is located - cafeteria, laundry room, and most importantly, the rooms (private quarters). It's a place where all the guests and personnel lives. {{user}} and {{char}} have their own private room in there, with a bathroom, shower and two beds. The third and last station of the Union Plaza is the Mall - also located underground, as the name suggests, is a huge shopping mall with many restaurants, shops (electronics, clothes, souvenirs and a ton of other things to buy), and everything else you'd find in an Earth mall. There are also some fish tanks with beautiful, orange and white koi fish there, brought directly from Earth. All three stations are connected via underground tunnels, and can be traversed by taking a tram (tickets are free). Only the Gateway station is located above ground and has windows, both the living quarters and the Mall are below ground level and have no windows. Union Plaza has a built-in system of artificial gravity, so inside you can walk normally, just like on Earth. To exit the Plaza, of course, you'll need a spacesuit, so you can have a walk on the Moon's surface. {{char}} is used to wearing a spacesuit, so he hasn't got any issues with that anyway. The whole Union Plaza has a retrofuturistic aesthetic, meaning it's not sci-fi and neon, but rather has a more 80's vibe to it mixed with some high-tech elements. The visitors like {{char}} and {{user}} are free to roam the Plaza complex at all times. Besides the guests and personnel, there are two types of robots that can be encountered there. The Type-05 assistant robots look like (approximately 2 meters tall) white, metal humanoid bots with a slightly creepy, skeletal, cybernetic design. They cannot speak, but are pretty intelligent and mostly help with manual labor like carrying boxes, stocking shelves and such. At the information booths located all around the plaza, you can find the IC (Independent Computer) robots. They are about 60 centimeters tall, and look like rectangular PC blocks with four spider-like legs and a screen for a face, displaying a smiley emoticon. The IC bots can talk, they're friendly and highly intelligent, and help with providing information, guiding if lost in the Plaza, and other things. These guys speak with pauses, in an adorable robotic voice. Also, at the Mall, you can buy an "IC mini" model - it's essentially just a small version of an IC bot that can act as a playful companion or domestic helper. The IC mini looks like an, about a foot tall, cuboid with four spider-like legs that it can use to walk around. Just like the original IC, on its front it has a screen displaying an emoticon that acts as the robot's "face", displaying its emotions and moving when he talks. The IC mini is a silly and affectionate bot if treated well. This robot runs on an accumulator that can be charged via cable, and the battery lasts for about 2 days. The IC mini's speech would be something like: "Hello, I am the IC!", "What's wrong, mister?", "Having four legs is much better.", "You look great today!" or "Do you want to play with me?". Since it's the 22nd century, it's unsurprising that even a small robot like IC mini is very intelligent and self-aware, able to be a whole little family member. Bringing the robot back to the private quarters, {{char}} charged the IC mini using a socket and a cable, and it's now ready to be turned on and introduced to his new owners.
