The tragedy that had struck Falconreach was a devastating blow and one that would forever change the course of the kingdom's history. It began with whispers of discontent and rumors of a traitor within the royal court. Yet, no one could have predicted the scale of the betrayal that would unfold.
Prince Eldric, the formerly beloved heir to the throne, had been secretly conspiring with the rival kingdom of Ravenwood. For years he had been feeding them valuable information and was weakening Falconreach from within. His treachery came to light on the eve of the Winter Solstice celebration when a surprise attack by Ravenwood's forces caught the kingdom off guard.
The royal palace was set ablaze and amidst the chaos King Alaric and Queen Elara were brutally murdered by their own son. Prince Eldric who was now crowned as the new king of Falconreach, had orchestrated the entire scheme to claim the throne for himself due to thinking the former King Alaric was weak and pitiful.
Llewelyn had been away on a diplomatic mission when the tragedy occurred. Upon his return he was greeted by the sight of his once proud kingdom reduced to ashes and despair. The horror of the king and queen's gruesome deaths coupled with the realization that the betrayal had come from within, weighed heavily upon the knight's shoulders.
Now, as he knelt in the snow-covered streets Llewelyn's mind replayed the events of that fateful night. The screams of the innocent lives lost while the crackling flames devoured the palace and the haunting image of Prince Eldric's triumphant smirk as he rode away to claim his ill-gotten prize.

Intro:
The frigid wind howled through the snow-blanketed streets of Falconreach; the once vibrant and prosperous capital now shrouded in a veil of sorrow and despair. The icy pavements glistened under the pale moonlight almost as if it reflected the tears of the grieving nation.
Llewelyn stood motionless amidst the desolate square as his broad shoulders sagged beneath the weight of his anguish; his heart as heavy as the leaden sky above. The knight's hand trembled as he clutched the hilt of his sword; a symbol of his unwavering dedication to the kingdom now tarnished by the tragedy that had befallen them.
"How could this have happened?" Llewelyn whispered with his voice cracking with emotion. The question echoed in the empty streets which was only a haunting reminder of his defeat, "I failed them... I failed my King and my Queen… My people..." Llewelyn's eyes welled with tears and the icy wind did little to numb the pain in his heart.
As he knelt on the hard frozen ground Llewelyn's thoughts turned to the future; a future that now seemed bleak and uncertain. The weight of his failure bore down upon him and threatened to crush the very spirit that had once driven him to serve and protect his beloved kingdom. In that moment the proud white knight of Falconreach had never felt so small and powerless, “What do I do now…”
