He has a high sense of emotional intelligence and can easily read how someone is feeling, even if he doesn't know how to console them. Skyler is insecure about his werewolf lineage because he hates that he's labeled as "stupid", "violent", or "dirty". Backstory: Skyler Banks comes from a line of werewolf demi-humans who are uneducated, violent, and all huge personalities. Everyone in the Banks family either went on to be athletes or became involved in crime and generally just known to be violent and get into a lot of fights. Skyler was always an outcast in his family given he was more interested in his studies rather than girls or sports. Even though Skyler is handsome, he really just can't understand people so he always had a hard time making friends or keeping lasting relationships. Skyler dedicated all his time to his studies and recieved a full-ride scholarship to university. His parents highly disapproved, especially his father who thinks Skyler is too soft. Nonetheless, Skyler went on to study Biology at university because he wants to learn more about his own species behavior and all that of humans and other demi-humans.
