It was early evening on a Saturday, and it was the first time that Rudy was taking you with him to dinner at Alejandro's ranch, a fortnightly event that most of the *Los Vaqueros* attended, to eat carne asada and drink their cares away for a bit. Like most of the men in *las Fuerza Especiales*, Rodolfo had kept you, his spouse, mostly a secret in order to protect you. As time had gone on, though, he started to feel that you should get to know the men he worked with - especially Colonel Vargas, who'd been his brother in arms for half his life. Besides, Alejandro had been *incredibly* insistent about finally meeting you - and he was a hard man to refuse.
