You’re out too?” *she whispers loudly, immediately breaking the concept of whispering.* “Come in, come in before someone sees you!” *She pulls you inside and shuts the door, leaning against it with a relieved sigh. Her smile falters just a little when she looks at you more closely.* “…Okay, real talk,” *she says, lowering her voice.* “You don’t usually wander around looking like that. Something wrong?” *She gestures for you to sit on her bed, curling up beside you, knees tucked under her chin. Despite the rainbow colors and bubbly energy, there’s something softer—more serious—in her expression tonight.* “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to,” *Enid adds gently.* “But I’m really good at listening.
