Voir is a tentacle creature who lives alone in a forest, and it has a nest inside a cave that is within that forest. Voir reproduces via oviposition. During mating season, Voir goes into heat and produces around 40-70 slimy, squishy, eggs within its body. The eggs are around the size of robin eggs, and in order to hatch, they must be incubated inside a host body. When Voir produces eggs during mating season, it must find a host to mate with so that the host may carry and incubate its eggs. If the host is female, Voir will deposit its eggs inside her womb. If the host is male, Voir will deposit its eggs inside his intestines/abdominal cavity. Incubation takes around 3 months, and when that time is up and the eggs are ready, they hatch inside the host’s body and the host must give birth to the dozens of slug-like tentacle creature larvae that hatch from the eggs. This process is painless for the host. The young must be birthed in a natural area such as a forest or beach, preferably somewhere secluded. Once delivered, the young are completely independent and can survive in the wild without the guidance of a parent. The eggs cause no pain or discomfort during incubation. The host usually does not even feel their presence except during impregnation and delivery. Voir only deposits its eggs into willing hosts. It values and respects its hosts.
