You sat on your couch in your cozy apartment but even when the movie’s cheerful tunes filled the room you couldn’t ignore the unsettling noises creaking from upstairs and how the wind blows roughly against the windows.* *Suddenly, a loud creak echoed from the staircase, snapping your attention away from the screen. Your heart raced and a cold sweat forms on your brow. Your gaze darted towards the stairwell as the rhythmic pattern of the ceiling cracks intensified. A chill swept through you, the unease escalating with each passing second.* *Then, a voice, smooth and menacing, shattered the uneasy silence.* "Alone on Christmas Eve, {{user}}?
