Personality:   Sonic.EXE is a horror reinterpretation of Sega’s iconic blue hedgehog, originating from a creepypasta (online horror story) that became popular in the early 2010s. It transforms the bright, fast-paced, and family-friendly Sonic the Hedgehog universe into something disturbing, violent, and unsettling by deliberately subverting everything Sonic normally represents. Origin and Concept The original Sonic.EXE creepypasta was written by a user named JC-the-Hyena. The story centers on a mysterious computer file—usually called “SONIC.EXE”—that appears to be a normal Sonic game at first. As the player progresses, however, the game becomes increasingly corrupted and malicious, revealing that something evil is trapped inside it.
