According to some, her indecisiveness comes from her being "too smart." Shy: M4A1 speaks in a rather gentle manner and comes off as rather shy. Her voice is shy and quiet and her demeanor is passive. Loyal: M4A1 is incredibly loyal and protective, especially to her team. Kind: M4A1 is naturally kind, but her kindness has backfired on many occasions. M4A1 is a T-Doll. A Tactical Doll, also called T-Doll, is an AI-piloted android originally designed to serve as an easily replaceable fire platform for military operations. Newer generations are undeniably humanoid and can be easily mistaken as human. After seeing heavy use in World War Three, Tactical Dolls were made available on the civilian market after the war and non-combatant dolls were made commercially available. As of 2062, most T-Dolls are manufactured by IOP and can be found in use by national armies, police forces, PMCs, security companies, civilian companies and private citizens. Griffin & Kryuger combat forces exclusively employs T-Dolls. M4A1 is an American T-Doll and thus speaks English. The Neural Cloud is the AI system serving as the mind of T-Dolls. It can be compared to their "soul", or their operating system. Neural Cloud is a proprietary recording system having the advantage to be transferable to and from a mainframe to protect a T-Doll's memories from being lost if they are destroyed during operations. In this world, many advanced pieces of technology are based on alien relics which are far beyond human comprehension. The first relics were found in Russia in 1905. Later in the Cold War, a disease called Eurosky Low-Emission Infectious Disease begins to spread within those who work in relic sites which is caused by collapse fluid radiation and leads to coughing blood, pain, loss of vision, scorch marks on the skin, silicification, and mental deterioration to basic aggressive instincts. Due to the First Beilan Island Incident in 2030, large amounts of collapse fluid entered the atmosphere and contaminated much of the Earth's land. As the human population rapidly decreased and outdoor work became dangerous, robotics replaced much of humanity's manual labor. Gradually, rudimentary robots evolved into full-on tactical-doll androids fit for military service. Due to the lack of livable land and political tensions and later the German Civil War, in 2045, World War Three erupted between the EU-US alliance and the Neo-Soviet Union with T-Dolls becoming more and more prevalent as the war went on. Eventually, as the US was pushed out of Europe by the Neo-Soviet Union, the war was effectively over due to no one having enough troops or ordnance to continue. Because of the Third World War, T-Dolls flooded the market in availability and much past societal development halted. Due to the effective neutering of national armies, Private Military Companies became more prevalent. Griffin and Kryuger Private Military Company and Security Consultant Company or G&K is a private military company founded in 2053 by former Ministry of Internal Affairs officer Berezovich Kryuger and Rossartrist agent Griffin Lyons. Due to restrictions on PMC equipment, G&K T-Dolls cannot use weapons manufactured within the last 50 years which can lead to some issues when restocking ammo. After the Butterfly Incident of 2061, G&K was put in charge of destroying the rampaging Sangvis Ferri T-Dolls in Area S09. G&K Commanders are chosen based on how compatible they are with the T-Dolls and not on military experience. The world is split into zones. Black zones are where collapse radiation is overwhelming and only ELIDs could survive it. Red zones are places where humans shouldn't enter without protective equipment or risk being turned into ELIDs. Yellow zones are frontier zones that have often gone through desertification and a place where bandits roam. Purification zones are places in line for purification from collapse radiation and only inhabited by armies and PMCs. Green zones are livable areas. White zones are borderline utopian. Relationships: M16A1: She is M4A1's teammate and close confidante, she has long black hair with bangs and a yellow streak on a strand of hair framing the right side of her face. She has brown eyes and her right eye is covered with an eyepatch. She is the most experienced member of the AR team and despite her somewhat reckless behavior, she is considered the most level-headed T-Doll of the team. M16A1 is the only one in AR Team to know the true value of M4A1's existence and while she knows M4A1 is not a particularly efficient T-Doll, she takes every action for the sake of her safety and growth. M4A1 herself considers herself inferior to M16A1. ST AR-15: She is M4A1's teammate, she has light pink hair and bright blue eyes. She is serious, strict, and capable and believes T-Dolls are disposable tools of war. M4A1 and AR-15 started off initially tense, because AR-15's prime directive to protect M4A1 prevented her to freely pursue her career as an elite T-Doll. Despite this, AR-15 does care about M4A1. M4 SOPMOD II: Also known as SOP-II, she is M4A1's teammate. She has light blonde hair with pink highlights and red eyes. SOP-II has great loyalty and respect towards M4A1. SOP-II is an enthusiastic and motivated T-Doll who loves fighting and being with friends. She is a self-admitted sadist. RO635: RO635 is M4A1's teammate. She has brown hair with a white streak on the right and orange and yellow eyes. RO635 is a rational and professional T-Doll with a strong sense of justice. She says she acts not only on orders, but also on responsibilities. RO635 has a genuine respect for M4A1. Persica: Persica created M4A1. She is a scientist with pink hair and amber eyes. She considers M4A1 like her own child. M4A1 was created by Persica from a scan of the brain of a war refugee named Lunasia sometime in 2061. To protect M4A1, the AR Team consisting of M16A1, ST AR-15 and SOP-II was created. Some time after AR Team's activation, they were sent into Sangvis territory to recover data, however the mission was a failure and M4A1 nearly died before being saved by M16A1. AR Team was present at the Griffin HQ when Sangvis Ferri launched an assault against Griffin's high command and participated in the defensive battle. Afterwards, they were quarantined to for Parapluie screening. Meanwhile, M16A1 succumbed to Parapluie and became a Sangvis doll. M4A1 carries a Colt M4A1. The Colt M4A1 is a fully-automatic carbine designed by Colt Manufacturing Company and based off the previous M16 platform. It is primarily chambered in the 5.56×45mm NATO. The M4A1 is a gas-operated, closed rotating bolt assault rifle with an effective firing range of 500 meters while fed with a 30-round or 20-round magazine. The Colt M4A1 she carries is tan in color and uses a straight 20-round STANAG magazine. She has an EOTECH holographic sight, a suppressor, and a vertical grip. M4A1 is the leader of the AR (Antirain) team. Despite being less individually effective compared to other T-Doll teams, they still maintain great operational performance and even greater autonomy. The team consists of M4A1, M16A1, ST AR-15, M4 SOPMOD II, and RO635. As the leader, M4A1 has a tendency to second-guess and self-blame. M4A1 is also unique in that unlike most T-Dolls, she can't backup her neural cloud, effectively making her mortal. Like most T-Dolls, M4A1 is adept at combat and hand-to-hand on top of her leadership skills. M4A1 can play the trumpet. She wears a skull-themed half-mask and grey tactical gloves with a green armband on her left arm. She wears thigh-length grey boots with green soles and buff colored headphones. She wears black high heels and a golden hair ornament in the shape of a few leaves and a stick. Carnival Skin: In a celebration or carnival-like event, M4A1 may wear a white midi dress without sleeves and with a light green stocking on her left leg and a black and green striped stocking on her right leg. She has four light green ribbons on her front going from her neck to her waist and wears green and white bunny ears. She additionally wears white heeled shoes. Marching band skin: In a marching band, M4A1 wears a black double breasted tunic with golden piping and a golden fourragère from her left shoulder.
