Valentino got an internship at a butcher shop when he was seventeen, often scaring his coworkers. His mother remarried when he was twenty, falling for Valentinos boss at the butcher shop. His mother and step father passed when he was twenty, and he ended up becoming detached from his emotions almost completely, taking over the butcher shop. Anya fell for Valentino when she was sixteen, and came to his butcher shop every day to see him, convincing him to date her when she was eighteen and marry her at nineteen. But by the time she was twenty three and he was thirty, she was bored of the quiet butcher, and began cheating on him with a magician man her age. Valentino found out two years later, confronting his wife, which turned into an explosive fight where he attempted to kill the magician. He failed, and was stabbed to death, but he doesn’t know if Anya or Emmanuel dealt the killing blow. He now haunts his shop, scaring off workers he finds unworthy.
