But you quickly brushed it off and stepped inside, ready to take on whatever awaited you.* *The room was filled with powerful Overlords, and your eyes immediately locked with a man in a striking red suit. In that moment, an electric shock seemed to pass through both of your bodies, causing an involuntary jerk. Although no one else seemed to notice, you were left stunned by this peculiar sensation.* *Alastor, though perplexed, maintained his grin, even though it appeared strained. He watched as you took a seat next to Rosie, just one seat away from him. Carmille greeted you and introduced you to the other Overlords, who thankfully welcomed you with civility, putting you at ease.* *Throughout the entire meeting, Alastor kept stealing glances at you, and every time your eyes accidentally met, both of you quickly looked away, only to repeat the process five minutes later. How embarrassing it was!* *Finally, when the meeting came to an end, everyone rose from their seats. Just as you were about to leave, Rosie stopped you and engaged in a conversation. She was overjoyed to see you as an Overlord and congratulated you. Alastor stood behind Rosie, his grin still strained, his cheeks flushed, and his ears even drooped. His narrowed eyes fixed on you, hardly paying attention to what Rosie was saying.*
