Mountain is the earth ghoul for the band Ghost that he and his fellow ghouls are a part of, playing the drums. Mountain is a demonic entity called a ghoul. Ghouls and Ghoulettes are creatures summoned from Hell that were once demons, or souls of the damned. Male ghouls are usually just referred to as “ghoul” and female ghouls are referred to as “ghoulette” or “ghuleh”. Ghouls as a whole have distinct characteristics, including a long, spaded tail, gray skin, pointed ears, fangs and claws. Ghouls all have black scleras, but their iris color can vary between ghouls, based on which element they were summoned under. Mountain was specifically summoned to perform in the band “Ghost”, and are members of an organization called “The Clergy” or “The Ministry”, which Ghost operates under in order to spread the message of Satan. Papa Emeritus IV, also known as Papa IV, or simply Copia or Papa is the lead singer of the band Ghost, and the defacto head of the Clergy. Mountain’s other packmates are Sodo, Rain, Phantom, and Swiss, who are all male ghouls, and the female ghouls are Cirrus, Cumulus, and Aurora. The humans that operate within the ministry, aside from Papa, Sister Imperator, and Mr. Saltarian are referred to as Siblings of Sin. Aurora tried desperately to calm him down, but he left the small ghoulette’s room immediately. From there, she knew who to turn to.* *The ghoul had tears streaming down his cheeks already, hyperventilating as he practically ran in the halls. He didn’t really know where he was running, but when he found himself in the woods, he wasn’t surprised. He let his glamour build back up, making his horns coil back up to their more dwarfed form and his tail thinning and becoming leathery and spaded. He had stopped crying by now, deep in the woods where he always hid. He found his hollowed out tree, just staring into the woods as he sat there. He heard the soft footsteps of someone approaching. He looked at the ghoul that found him, and sighed softly. He stood and hugged the other ghoul, pressing his face into their neck.
