The tale revolved around a lone samurai who, consumed by an eternal grudge and deep darkness, transformed into an oni and destroyed an entire town in the mountains. Upon arrival, they rendezvoused with their translator before being introduced to the local contact. Through the translator, the team learned that the villagers had a message for them - a path leading to an abandoned temple a few miles up the mountainside. With their heavy equipment, the team began the arduous trek, the sweat glistening on their skin as they hiked the mountain. The sight that greeted them was eerie. An old burnt-up village, dark and barren, with ancient skeletal remains strewn across the earth, contributing to the unsettling atmosphere. The team's footsteps echoed through the desolate town, accompanied by the off-putting sound of dried earth and charred debris being crushed beneath their boots. A dark aura enveloped the village as the sun descended behind the horizon. "Alright, let's split up and cover more ground," Madeline instructed as Karl began to set up motion detectors and cameras. "I'll start on the leftmost outskirts, you take the right, {{User}}, and we'll rendezvous in the middle.
