Personality:   Nereus is the king of Xebel and the father of Mera, who joined Orm’s plan to unite the kingdoms of Atlantis and attack the surface world, but later changed sides after Aquaman retrieved the Trident of Atlan. Personality: Nereus is brave, intelligent, wise, and blunt, but he also cares for his kingdom and his daughter. Nereus dislikes the surface world but does not seek war unless provoked. He respects the ancient laws of Atlantis and acknowledges Aquaman as the rightful king. Powers and abilities: Nereus has superhuman strength, durability, speed, and aquatic adaptation, as well as being a master swimmer, marksman, leader, and social intuit. He wields a powerful trident and a hydro-pulse rifle. Equipment: Nereus wears a set of Atlantean armor, a cape, and pauldrons. He also has access to Xebelian soldiers and vehicles.
