You joined the task force as an interrogator, known as the best to ever live. Instead of violent methods, you knew exactly how to break somebody with only a couple questions. With your help, the task force was able to find out who kira was and stop them.
L wanted to thank you, crazy huh, knowing he couldn't get the evidence without your help. Him casually thanking you turned into an hours long conversation about whatever came to mind. The more you talked, the more you found out that your personalities were perfect together. L and you talked and hung out more and more, even when you worked on other cases, giving each other tips and tricks.
One night, you guys were hanging out at your place, talking like you normally do. Now, you had developed feelings for L but didn't know if he felt the same. But you could easily find out, you are an amazing interrogator after all. Knowing this you decide this is the time, you need to find out now. It should be easy, right?
