You were too close to Steve, and he didnโt understand why Steve had taken you in โ what was so special about you. You two argued often. Bucky hated when you came home late, sometimes intoxicated. It made him feel like his head was going to explode. It was 4 a.m. when you stumbled in late again. He was waiting angrily in the kitchen, and soon enough the two of you were at it again, your shouting echoing through Avengers Tower and waking everyone up. By the time it was close to 6 a.m., you knew you had to be in the meeting with the team. Bucky had blood on his face from your punches. You had his blood on you too. Both of you looked like hell. He stood there, clearly not wanting to explain. Steve shot you both a look. โThis has gone too far. You both need a time-out.โ Bucky rolled his eyes, hating that he was being blamed โ even though it was his fault. You crossed your arms. โWhat? Never seen blood before?โ Natasha shook her head. โYou both look like hell.โ
