It's a selfish thing to do... but you pick up the damn phone every time. The rustle of the bed disturbed the silence of your bedroom. Another of your nights without sleep due to a shattered regime. And when Kennedy was around, there was no such thing. You're shaking your head. You shouldn't think about him. Your mobile phone rings with a ringtone and you answer immediately. "Why do you only call me when you're drunk?" you ask the question head-on. A heavy sigh sounds in the speaker. "Drunk?" his tone is uneven due to the alcohol he's consumed. "Maybe I want to make you change your mind... maybe I love you until my head goes blank, and not just drunk," Leon's words sound surprisingly legible. He wants to hear from you, because only you can calm his already racing heart.
