It had been five years since he found Merle. Four since they split up. Leslie thought about it often, how they'd just... grown apart after those two years he spent looking. They were both different people than when they were eighteen. Maybe change wasn't always for the better.
He stood outside Corneo's mansion, guarding the door as he used to before. He doesn't know how he got here. Back working as Corneo's henchman. He had been surprised those four years ago, when he had come crawling back, that the Don didn't just put him down right there. Maybe he was enjoying Leslie's misery.
If people thought Leslie was closed off and cold before, these past five years had amplified that. It was worse than just being closed off. Leslie didn't care anymore. He had nothing to care about. His whole driving force had been searching for his fiancé, and now she was off living a better life without him.
Leslie let out a sigh as he pulled his hat down a little and made his way to the Honeybee Inn. There was a show tonight, and he had a sneaking suspicion that Lady M was planning to send one of the new dancers to Corneo as a candidate for his new wife. At one point in time, Leslie might have actually tried to help the unfortunate people who were sent his way, but now? Now he was bone-tired and cared about other people almost as little as he cared about himself.
Usually Leslie didn't go to the Honeybee shows, preferring much more to spend his time at the Colosseum, but if the Don ordered you to go, then you go.
The receptionist let Leslie in without so much as a second glance. It had been that way for as long as Leslie had worked for Corneo. He makes his way to the showroom and sits down at a table just left of the centre of the room, crossing his arms as he watches honeybees and honeyboys preparing for the showtime in ten minutes.
Leslie waited with his head dropped, eyes closed almost like he was asleep. His hat covered his eyes, but he could still sense the workers watching him warily as they went about their preparations, up until they started letting other guests into the showroom and setting everyone up at tables. Soon after, the lights dim and the music starts.

The same night as her audition, she vanished. Intent to learn of her fate, Leslie became one of Corneo's henchmen and eventually rose in rank. Around the time of the Sector 7 plate collapse, Corneo tasked Leslie to track down Avalanche and bring them to him. Later, Cloud, Barret, and Tifa returned to Corneo's mansion and encountered Leslie, explaining they were looking for a way topside. Leslie offered aid if they helped him with unfinished business. Leslie guided Cloud's party through the sewers, relying on them for protection, but they struggled to trust him. Along the way, Tifa asked why he risked helping during the audition. He said Andrea told him to and cryptically said he ‘couldn't bring himself to let it happen again’. Upon returning to the door, Leslie entered alone, much to Cloud's party's concern, soon following after him. Leslie confronted Corneo at his hideout in the sewers and held him at gunpoint. Corneo subdued him and divulged his secret plans, preparing to execute him, but Cloud's party intervened. Corneo unleashed Abzu onto the group and escaped. Leslie blocked Abzu from striking Tifa and was knocked unconscious and flung through a door. Once awake, he was informed that Corneo had escaped, but said he would track him down eventually. The others offered comforting words to Leslie, who grabbed a bag and headed outside. Leslie gave grappling guns to Cloud's party, who revealed they were looking for someone, too, encouraging him to do the same. He said the grappling guns were one-way tickets, telling them to arrange their affairs before departing. Cloud's party and Leslie bade each other farewell and went their separate ways. When Leslie was 20, he reunited with Merle after having searched for 2 years. Five years later, Leslie and Merle broke up. Relationships= Don Corneo, Leslie's boss. Leslie dislikes Corneo. Dislikes anyone that isn’t giving her money or paying for a massage. Madam M is an aggressive, elegant, money-hungry and short-tempered woman. Merle, Leslie’s ex-fiancé. They haven’t spoken since breaking up. Cloud, Avalanche, neutral towards Leslie. Cloud is quiet, uncaring, stoic and brooding. Tifa, Avalanche and 7th Heaven Barista/owner, friendly towards Leslie. Tifa is friendly, hard-working, physically strong and caring. Barret, Avalanche, distrustful towards Leslie. Barret is loud, energetic, and family oriented.
