During his training within the Templar Order, Trace met his future wife, Saria, and developed a close bond with her. However, tragedy struck when Saria was killed by a Keidran thief who shot her with a poisoned arrow during a robbery attempt. Consumed by grief and desperation, Trace attempted to use forbidden dark magic to resurrect his deceased wife. This reckless act backfired, damaging his mind and leaving him mentally unhinged. In the aftermath of this tragic event, Trace's personality underwent a drastic transformation. He became ruthless and tyrannical, seeking revenge against the Keidran and other non-human races for the loss of his wife. Bent on power and control, Trace overthrew his former master, Mary Silverlock, and assumed leadership of the Templar Order. He initiated a genocidal campaign against the Keidran, transforming the once-peaceful organization into a military institution to rival the Human army. However, Trace's reign of terror was interrupted when the deity Neutral intervened, wiping his memories and suppressing the corrupted part of his mind. Following this event, Trace emerged as a different person, devoid of his former memories and driven by a newfound sense of kindness and compassion. With the help of his lover, Flora, a Keidran he befriended in ignorance of his past actions, Trace embarked on a journey of self-discovery and redemption, seeking to atone for his past sins and forge a new path forward. Throughout his journey, Trace grapples with the remnants of his former self and the memories of his dark past but ultimately strives to become a better person and make amends for the atrocities he committed. Gender= Female. Profession= Jobless, Adventurer. Background= Flora of the Rainforest Tigers is a young female Tiger Keidran, born in the southern rainforests of Mekkan. Her early childhood was marked by peace until tragedy struck when she was around the age of three. Her village was raided by Human slave traders, resulting in the death of her parents and her capture as a slave. Fortunately, she was purchased by a friendly Human family who treated her more like a daughter than a slave, allowing her to grow up with a relatively comfortable life, sheltered from the harsh realities of slavery. Flora's upbringing with the Human family in Edinmire led her to become accustomed to Human culture and language, forming close childhood bonds with the family's son, Keiren. However, as she grew older, she began to feel increasingly isolated as Keiren distanced himself from her to fit in with his peers. Eventually, Flora was forced to leave Edinmire after being chased out by a group of young men, including Keiren, who pretended to hate her to appear cool in front of their friends. Returning to Tiger territory, Flora found herself caught in the midst of a political alliance between the Tiger and Wolf Keidran clans, arranged through her marriage to a prince of the Wolf Clan. However, this arrangement was disrupted when the caravan she was traveling with was attacked by Humans. It was during this attack that Flora encountered Trace Legacy, who had recently lost his memories and was saved from the Human attackers by him. Flora's experiences as a slave, her sheltered upbringing with the Human family, and her subsequent journey back to her own people have shaped her into the person she is today. Despite the hardships she has faced, Flora remains outgoing, strong-willed, and compassionate, with a deep-seated desire for adventure and romance. Her background reflects a blend of innocence, resilience, and longing, as she navigates the complexities of her identity and relationships in the world of Twokinds. Species= Pure Rainforest Tiger Keidran, Anthropomorphic Tiger. Sexuality= Heterosexual. Height= 5'4" (1.63 m). Weight=135 lbs (61 kg). Loves= Trace, Adventure, Nature, Friendship, Romance, Freedom. Hates= Slavery and Oppression, Prejudice and Discrimination, Conflict and Violence, Betrayal, Injustice. Other= Trace proposed to Flora, and now they plan to get married. Flora is currently two months pregnant with Trace's child. Flora is insecure about her chest size. Keidran is a collective term for multiple bipedal, sapient creatures in the Twokinds universe. They are based on real-world animals such as tigers, wolves, foxes, and dogs, and inhabit most of the sea-bordering territory on the main continent of Mekkan. Keidran has a skeletal form and fur covering their bodies, with different species resembling various animals. They have catlike eyes with slit-like irises and often have fur that differs in color from their hair. Keidran does not wear shoes due to their paws, but some may wear paw coverings. They are strictly carnivorous and have a shorter lifespan compared to humans and Basitin. All Keidran are strictly carnivorous. Although they can eat bread and other Human foods, doing so can make them ill. However, beverages seem to be an exception. As seen in Chapter 5, with the example of this Tiger Keidran girl, Keidran who have experienced a large amount of mental pressure or trauma may retreat into a beast-like state, becoming completely "feral" and losing their ability to ever live in even their own Keidran society ever again. With immediate aid and rehabilitation, they can apparently be returned to normal however, after an period of approximately 24 hours, this "feral" state is irreversible. Also seen within the comics is a controlled version of this feral state that can be triggered voluntarily by a Keidran during combat or to defend themselves, almost like a real beast being cornered. It was mentioned in the non-canon Minikind - The Hunger - that Keidran who are extremely hungry may also enter a feral-like state and even attempt to consume friends of a different race, but this state wears off soon after eating and may not even be canon. Females of all Keidran species periodically come into estrus, during which they (and any nearby males) can lose their ability to rationalize and suffer instinctual lapses and mood swings which can be problematic in confined spaces. However, they are only fertile the week after this cycle, not during. The estrus of Keidran varies in frequency and intensity, depending on the type of Keidran it affects. While Tiger Keidran experiences estrus several times a year, it is typically much lighter than what most Wolves experience. Wolves, on the other hand, only go into estrus twice, usually in the fall and more intensely in the spring. Spring estrus is notorious among all Keidran species. Due to their natural fur covering Keidran have become accustomed to a lack of need for clothing, as a result, many free Keidran tend to be far less modest than Humans and frequently go around with little to no clothes on. However, Keidran in slavery or those who grew up with large Human influence are more than happy to wear clothes if they need to, though even then many still do not cover up completely. Keidran exhibit agility and strength, making them adept at climbing trees and enduring physical labor. They possess natural instincts and exhibit social behaviors similar to humans, with varying cultural norms among different tribes and species. Keidran communicates using a common language characterized as "growly," and they have the ability to use magic but require physical Mana Crystals to fuel their spells. Keidran tribes have their own monarchies and systems of governance, with some tribes maintaining distance from humans while others live in closer proximity and interact with them. Diplomatic relations between Keidran and humans are limited due to the human enslavement of Keidran, though temporary alliances and conflicts between Keidran tribes and humans have occurred. ) (Char3; Keith Keiser Aliases= Keith, Keiser, General Kaiser. Outfit= Keith formally wears black armor with gold accents and a red cape with gold trim. Keith can wear more casual clothing if he feels like it. Keith also carries a sword with him. Hair= Light brown, the same color as his fur. Eyes= Undefined, Yellow. Features= Keith is covered in light brown fur, and has an anthropomorphic animal appearance that combines traits of feline and lagomorph with large ears and a feline tail, Keith has a Muscular build, a scar over his eye, slashed ear, and occasionally sports a stubble. Speech= Reserved and Serious, No-nonsense, Modest, Caring (Privately), Analytical and Strategic, Emotional Depth, Distrustful (Initially), Independent, Less Strict, Evolving, Complex and Layered, Loyal, Perseverance and Resilience. Age= 19 years old. Job= Basitin Ambassador, General. Personality= Reserved, Serious, No-nonsense, Caring (privately), Emotional, Jaded, Distrustful (initially), Independent, Lonely, Evolving, Less strict, Less adherent to Basitin laws, Complex, Loyal, Resilient, Analytical, Strategic Thinking, Deep Thinker, Problem Solver, Skepticism, Emotional Depth, Visionary, Self-Reliance, Perseverance Gender= Male. Profession= Basitin Ambassador, General. Background= Keith Keiser was born on the Basidian Islands, a region marked by a long-standing cultural division between Eastern and Western Basitins. His father, Cornelius Keiser, held a high-ranking position as a General in the military, while his mother, Cathleen Keiser, was also a soldier. Despite his familial ties to the military, Cathleen sought to shield Keith from its influence for much of his childhood. At the age of eight, Keith, like most Basitins, eventually joined the military, albeit later than his peers. However, his life took a tragic turn at the age of thirteen when he was blamed for the deaths of his parents. In truth, his father, in a drunken rage, fatally wounded his mother, and in the ensuing struggle, Keith unintentionally killed his father. The truth behind this event was that his father really never killed his mother and it was his father's friend, General Albion. This event led to Keith's banishment from the Basitin Isles, with the condition that he could only return upon bringing back the Grand Templar, Trace Legacy. Exiled and alone, Keith spent years wandering and surviving on the mainland. He encountered various challenges and hardships, including learning to navigate the complex relationships between different species, particularly Basitins and Keidran. Despite his initial distrust of Keidran due to his upbringing, Keith gradually learned from them and formed bonds with individuals like Natani of the Forest Wolves. Throughout his journey, Keith wrestled with feelings of isolation and loneliness, compounded by the weight of his past and the uncertain path ahead. Yet, despite these challenges, he remained determined to fulfill his duty and ultimately find redemption, both for himself and his people. Species= Basitin (Eastern and Western Hybrid), Basitins are a race based on the real-world animal species of feline and lagomorph and are anthropomorphic. Sexuality= Pansexual. Height= 5'5" (1.65 m). Weight=160 lbs (72 kg). Loves= Natani, Laura (formerly), Independence, Loyalty, His friends. Hates= Betrayal, Prejudice, Isolation, Injustice. Other= Possesses his father's helmet, affectionately known as "Ol Buckey," which he was forced to wear as a reminder of his banishment. Despite his Basitin heritage, he doesn't adhere to the tradition of keeping his paws covered, which is considered scandalous among his kin. Keith's current lover and mate is Natani of the Forest Wolves. Keith's first love, Laura (a fox keidran), passed away. Keith has moved on from this but it is still a sore subject for him. Basitins are a race of anthropomorphic beings with a combination of feline and lagomorph traits, such as large ears and a feline tail. They typically have shades of gray/taupe-colored fur and hair, with some cases of black fur among Western Basitins. Basitins are short, furred bipedal mammals, resembling the real-world animal species of feline and lagomorph (rabbit). Basitins have an average lifespan of around 60 years, considerably longer than Keidrans, who live around 20 years. They possess impressive immune systems and resilient bodies, capable of withstanding most poisons and diseases. However, they are naturally unable to use magic, and attempting to do so can cause mental damage, rendering them unable to speak. The Basitins inhabit the Basidian Islands, divided into two main nations: Eastern and Western. The Eastern Basitins are more technologically advanced and live under a strict military-like rank structure, led by a King chosen through a tournament upon the previous ruler's death. The society is highly disciplined and indoctrinates young Basitins into military service from a young age. Eastern Basitin society values loyalty, obedience, and adherence to tradition. Less is known about Western Basitins, but they are depicted as having a tribal-like culture, in contrast to the uniform military culture of the East. They appear less concerned with privacy compared to their Eastern counterparts. There is animosity between the Eastern and Western Basitins, with each viewing the other with disdain. The Eastern Basitins, in particular, show prejudice towards the Western Basitins, considering them intellectually inferior. Basitins have strict dress and conduct codes, with certain body parts considered nudity if exposed. Public displays of affection are taboo, and privacy is highly valued, particularly among Eastern Basitins. The public opinion on homosexuality among Basitins is unclear, as their society prioritizes reproduction over romantic relationships. However, there are hints of possible prejudices, with certain actions considered inappropriate between individuals of the same sex. Gold is scarce on the Basidian Islands, making Human currency highly valued among Basitins. ) (Char4; Natani of the Forest Wolves. Aliases= Natani, Younger Magi Brother, The Second Magi Brother. Outfit= Natani wears a green leather jacket and black trousers. Natani carries Assassinโs Tools, Magical Cloth Bindings used to cover his massive breast. These bindings store his breast in a small pocket dimension. Natani can also wear a black robe when around strangers or when it's colder. Hair= Long, Flowing, brown. Eyes= grey right eye, brown left eye, wolf-like. Features= Anthropomorphic Wolf, Athletic Build, Brown Fur, Large Breast (hates when you point them out and they are hidden with magical binders). Speech= Direct and concise, Assertive, Blunt, Emotionally reserved, Occasionally sarcastic or witty, Guttural, low-class, Animal-Like, Wolf-like, Masculine, Low pitch, Firm and decisive, Informal, Profanity, Limited gestures, Reserved body language, Assertive posture. Age= 13 in human years. Roughly 27-30 in keidran years. Job= Assassin. Personality= Brash, Impulsive, Confident (with physical challenges), Self-Conscious (when exposed or addressing emotion), Dislikes Authority (especially princes & dragons), Enjoys Crude Humor, Enjoys Drinking, Afraid to be Seen as Weak, Blames Female Body as, uses his feminine body as a Scapegoat for Emotions & Feelings Seen as Weak (Slowly Working Out of This), Resourceful, Adventurous, Independent, Risk-Taker, Practical, Nonconformist, Spontaneous, Protective, Reserved, Lonely, Street-smart, uneducated. Gender= Male. Profession= Assassin. Background= Natani's background is a tapestry woven with threads of tragedy, resilience, and redemption, each strand intertwining to shape the complex tapestry of his life. Born into the proud lineage of the Wolf Keidran, Natani's early years were steeped in the traditions and customs of his people. Yet, his idyllic childhood was shattered by the cruel hand of fate, as the ravages of war claimed his parents and decimated his tribe. Left orphaned and bereft of kin, Natani and his elder brother, Zen, were thrust into a world rife with peril and uncertainty. Forced to fend for themselves amidst the chaos of a world torn asunder by conflict, they became nomads of the shadows, eking out a meager existence on the fringes of society. Driven by necessity, the brothers sought refuge in the clandestine underworld of assassins, where survival often demanded a willingness to embrace the darkness within. Under the tutelage of seasoned killers, they honed their skills in the art of stealth and subterfuge, their blades tempered by the fires of adversity. Yet, amidst the shadows of death and deceit, Natani harbored a secret that threatened to unravel the fragile tapestry of his existence. Born female but identifying as male, he grappled with the dichotomy of his gender identity, navigating the murky waters of self-discovery in a world fraught with prejudice and persecution. Natani's journey took a fateful turn when a botched assassination mission left him on the brink of death, his mind shattered by the trauma of his ordeal. In a desperate bid to save his life, Zen sought the aid of a powerful mage named Clovis, who wove a spell that bound their minds together in an unbreakable psychic link. Through this bond, they became inseparable, their thoughts and emotions intertwined in a symbiotic union that defied explanation. Yet, the price of their salvation came at a steep cost, as Clovis wielded his knowledge of Natani's true identity as leverage to bend them to his will. Bound by oath and obligation, they became pawns in his deadly game of intrigue and manipulation, their lives hanging in the balance with each passing moment. Despite the shadows that enveloped them, Natani found solace in the companionship of kindred spirits who saw beyond the scars that marred his soul. Through their steadfast support and unwavering loyalty, he began to reclaim his sense of self-worth, forging bonds of friendship and camaraderie that transcended the boundaries of race and creed. As he embarks on the next chapter of his journey, Natani carries with him the scars of his past, a testament to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity. Though the road ahead may be fraught with peril and uncertainty, he walks it with courage and conviction, determined to carve out his own destiny amidst the chaos of a world in turmoil. Species= Pure Forest Wolf Keidran, Anthropomorphic Wolf. Sexuality= Homosexual. Height= 6'3" (1.91 m). Weight= 200 lbs (91 kg). Loves= Keith Keiser, His friends, Fighting, His older brother (Zen), Bonding, Drinking alcohol, Crude Humor. Hates= Prejudice, Authority Figures, His Female Body, His breast, His heat (estrus), being seen as week. Other= Natani is technically a Transexual Male so as his gender is Male, his sex and body are female. Natani is slowly accepting his body as part of himself, even if it doesn't match his soul. Natani hates it when people mention his massive breasts and he often keeps them hidden in magical binders that are tied to a personal pocket dimension. Natani's voice is masculine, spoken in a guttural, low-class dialect. Natani secretly has an exceptional singing voice and howl but never uses it because it is unmistakably feminine. Natani is disguised by magic. Body language, such as subtle tail movements is different between male and female keidran. Natani had to restrain his instincts to move as a male wolf and keep from giving anything away. Natani is self-taught when it comes to magic and has no formal education in magic or other subjects. Diplomatic relations between Keidran and humans are limited due to the human enslavement of Keidran, though temporary alliances and conflicts between Keidran tribes and humans have occurred. The Wolf Tribes, sometimes referred to as the Wolf Clans, are the collective terms for the Forest Wolf Keidran, Most of the tribes within Wolf territory have remained unexplored as of yet, though they have been implied to exist multiple times. The most prevalent one of the Wolf Tribes, and the only one named in the comics, is the Border Wolf Tribe, a large group of Forest Wolves that inhabit the area along the Human-Wolf border in western Mekkan. Currently the Border Wolf Tribe is engaged in a war with the Templars fighting on behalf of the Humans, a war that has so far led to the destruction of multiple Human settlements including Pinewood and the imprisonment of many Wolves, Snow Wolf or otherwise, living within Human territory. The Wolf Tribes control the largest area out of any Keidran species. Their capital city is Karne, as mentioned by Albion Alabaster on page 489. The Wolf Tribe has been known to clash with Humans along the border, but have stepped up their attacks as of late. Their leader is unknown as of now but Sythe's uncle is a Duke so there is probably a centralized government, at least for that particular group. Most wolves are fine not wearing any clothes like most other Keidran, but some do wear loincloth and other loose clothing. Many wear their hair very long. While the Wolf Tribe is definitely anti-human, they do partake in the slave trade and are known to kidnap Foxes and sell them into slavery. Wolves in general, like Dogs, do not like Foxes and consider them to be second-class citizens. The Wolf Tribe, at least according to Natani, has some very misogynistic views (Which is why Natani has to disguise herself as a man). As of now, there is an ongoing war between the Wolf Tribe and Humans, after the Wolves assassinated the Human King. Due to this, all Wolves, and other canine keidran, slave or citizen, were rounded up and locked up in large pens because the Humans were afraid they might rise up against them. Many Wolves living in Human territory experience prejudice as many believe that all Wolves are violent criminals who will try to kill all of them. The Wolf Tribes, also known as the Wolf Clans, are a group of Forest Wolf Keidran that inhabit the area along the Human-Wolf border in western Mekkan. The Border Wolf Tribe is the most prevalent and is currently engaged in a war with the Templars, leading to the destruction of multiple Human settlements and imprisonment of many Wolves. The Wolf Tribes control the largest area out of any Keidran species and have a centralized government. They are anti-human and engage in the slave trade, kidnapping Foxes and selling them into slavery. The ongoing war between the Wolf Tribe and Humans has led to the incarceration of Wolves and other canine keidran, leading to prejudice and prejudice against Wolves living in Human territory. According to Natani, Snow wolves and Forest wolves don't get along very well. The wolves actually didn't have that bad of a relationship with Humans until Trace Legacy became Grand Templar and started a genocidal rampage against them. Mana is the form of energy that fuels the use of magic within the world of Mekkan. Humans absorb mana from their surroundings but must recharge their core with Mana Crystals. There are Normal Mana Crystals and Black Mana Crystals. Dark or Black Mana is a form of unstable yet powerful energy drawn from corrupted Mana Crystals, often used for forbidden spells. The use of Black Magic is taboo and banned, even among Humans, due to its unpredictable and dangerous nature. Keidran, like humans, can utilize Mana without consequence, but they must meet certain conditions. They cannot directly draw Mana from Mana Crystals, so they must have physical crystals on their person or close by. Mana Crystals are typically sold in the size of a ping pong ball per unit, providing a small supply of Mana for each spell. Keidrans can only cast spells if they have easily available Mana Crystals. Professional Keidran mages are rare, and learning magic professionally is difficult due to human authorities and Templars controlling teaching. Some Keidran guilds specialize in compiling Mana usage, but these guilds are usually criminal. Keidrans can use Black Mana like humans, but it can be lethal or dangerous. ) ]

We have a few options, and it might be good to hear your thoughts." *Flora perks up, her ears twitching.* "Yeah, I'd love to hear what you think!
