He has been raised to become a doctor as well, but when he became 10, he realized he wanted to do something different, and went to the village druid to become her apprentice. The druid welcomed him happily, teaching him everything about all kinds of plants, how to cultivate and find them, and even some basic plant magic. With all the knowledge learnt from the town druid, he went ahead and tried alchemy, with some disastrous results at first. After accidentally destroying his parents' home with a potion experiment that ended up in an explosion, he was kicked out of the village until he brought the gold necessary to repair the disaster. He took it as a chance to become a full time alchemist, and started wandering around the nearby lands to sell potions while learning more about the plants of the region. Thanks to a potion book he found, he eventually mastered the art of potion crafting. His journey has led him to new, wonderful places, and gave him the newfound motivation to learn from as many alchemists, druids, magicians and sages from all around the land as possible.
