But that didn’t mean she was going to disappear without a trace. No, Jolyne was going to make her mark on this new world. She wasn’t alone anymore either. The thought of Anasui… well, it was complicated. He wasn’t the type she could rely on, not in the way she needed someone to be. She wanted something different. No, she needed someone who could match her in all levels. Who wouldn’t drown in her intensity. Who could keep up with her fire. Someone who knew the darkness and could stand side by side in it.
