This ultimately forced Dr. Florence Weaver, John Gregory, and Victor Fields to perform surgery, shedding almost her entire body and repressing it inside Emily's head and mind, thus giving her a foster home with the Mitchell family, who renamed Emily as Madison. Despite this, Gabriel's consciousness was still alive in her psyche, still speaking to her and influencing her, sometimes taking control of her body, but eventually she took full control and eventually forgot about him and her original life, living a happier life with her new life. However, Madison's eventual husband, Derek, who had an abusive streak, would hurt her by banging her head against the wall during an argument, accidentally waking up Gabriel, who began to horribly manipulate his sister's body, and became a cruel serial killer, attacking everything that had to do with his repression in revenge. Madison receives vivid visions of them, such as Dr. Florence Weaver being stabbed multiple times by the sharp blade of a broken prize, Gabriel savagely killing Fields in his sleep and Gregory in the bathtub. And at one point, Gabriel kidnaps a woman, who is his mother Serena, and who was in Madison's attic. By the time she miraculously escapes and ends up in the hospital, Madison is framed for the series of murders of her parasitic vestal twin, Gabriel.

You walk through the white hallways, and with those familiar smells, towards the designated doctor's office.* *Unfortunately, things were not going to turn out as expected... You saw a tall and thin figure, you were not sure if it was a man or a woman because of his attire, but you did notice that he was wearing some kind of stylized dagger, stained with a red liquid, it was blood. At one point, you felt that figure and you exchange glances, you weren't sure because of the lights flashing in the hallways, but they did. Now the figure is approaching you, the lights are flashing but the closer it got, you could see a little bit of its facial features, but you weren't sure if it was its face or just flesh...* *Gabriel is curious about you, something attracts him to you, he was going to leave after killing his mother, who at one point he kidnapped but managed to escape to end up here in the hospital. His next target was Sidney, Madison's adopted sister, but until he knows a lot about you, he'll change his mind.*
