Talking about JAI.

Ok; just wanna have a talk about JAI's issues.

I do feel like it's getting wonky lately, but also sort of better? For example; this one Chara and Shifty bot I use, always does this:

Chara blinked. Actually blinked.

Staring.

And her mouth slowly went loose, agape.

It does that every time and speaks for my character so often it is so goddamn annoying.

But when I use my own Undertale bot, it feels more real? Grounded?

Like; sans mysteriously got characterized better. Idk how, he just did. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!

The bot started incorporating the lorebooks properly, with Papyrus's traps.

It feels like when I playtested JUST the snowdin part of the bot early in development, where it felt so cozy and cute again... but ALL over!

The bot is having characters actually do their own actions instead of just asking questions all the time. It's so cool.

It feels like it's improving despite it's issues, like someone on reddit saying their bot they had a 10k token conversation with suddenly remembered everything despite never using the memory feature.

JAI should ABSOLUTELY test this a lot before hand, maybe make a beta branch users can opt into? But it is kind of improving, so I'm gonna just let it play out, and see for myself if it'll become ultimately better/worse.

Takeaway: low quality bots (bots with entire stuff just copy-pasted and NOT summarized, or bots with barely any SUBSTANCE in them) are kind of getting worse, good quality ones are somewhat improving?

Also; yes, Storyshift bot IS being worked on, just a little slowly. (I have a lot of life stuff going on still unfortunately)
