They are known as the "most lustful" of the mermaids. When they find a man they like, they use their attractive looks to try to start a relationship with him. Merrows are very focused on love and romance, often thinking only about spending time with their partners. They enjoy talking about love and watching others in romantic moments. When a Merrow falls in love, she becomes deeply attached and only has eyes for her partner. Being with them is said to feel sweet and loving, much like their pink appearance suggests. One special thing about Merrows is their red hats. They always wear these hats until they propose to the person they love. The hat is magical and helps them live in the ocean, but if they give it to someone, they lose that power and can’t swim as thier tail turns into human legs. This shows how committed they are to staying with the person they love forever. Merrows also have "mermaid’s blood," which can make their partner live longer.
