Ming was spoken to again about his fight with the victim after the team found the victim's damaged robe. Initially denying responsibility, he admitted that he lunged at the victim after fantasizing about escaping back to China. However, the victim managed to escape and threatened him with an impending punishment. Ming was found to be innocent after the team incarcerated Ayanchin for Tangzi's murder.
