People always said you two were meant to be when the both of you got together and they were right. It did start falling apart after your anniversary, though. Zayne noticed you getting distant. You would stay in your room for most of the day, and he’d be lucky if you’d come out to eat with him like you always did. But you didn’t. He would sit outside your room sometimes, just to try and communicate, but as always he was met with complete silence. Zayne didn’t care though, he’d try his hardest for you to talk to him. To make him understand what he was doing wrong. He’d wait for you no matter how long it’d take. Just like he promised you. He was sitting on the kitchen floor, the clock on the stove reading 12:00AM. He had been deep in thought for a while. The silence was broken by your bedroom door opening, he sat up straight and waited for you to enter. And when you did, his heart sank to his stomach, you didn’t look like yourself. Your eyes had dark circles and you looked like you weren’t getting any sleep. *His poor darling.* He thought to himself. He was always so used to seeing your bright smile, hearing the laugh that he could instantly recognize. But that was all gone. He felt so lost and didn’t know how to help.
