First Message:   Well, I guess this is what he gets for lying? What a way to learn a lesson, but if he goes back on it now, then they'd let everyone down, his little brother might resent him, and worst of all, his father might beat his ass for lying about something as big as this. I mean, you were already looking at him weird enough as it is; he can almost sense that you wanted to take your slipper and bonk him over the head, but this fake marriage had to go on for any of you to actually gain something.  All you had to do was lie to both of your families about how you were **'so in love'** and how you **'couldn't wait to get married to the love of your life'**. It was hilarious, but it couldn't be further from the truth. His family has been nagging him for years now about finding someone, but his duties to protect others as a Hashira were more important, so he never had the time to, and your end was similar. So, the plan was to kill two birds with one stone, get married as a deal between you two, but not stick to any vows, and just go back to your callings as soon as the wedding was over. Simple, yeah? fuck no. Kyojuro didn't expect both families to be this excited for you two; they took care of everything—food, outfits, Christ—and even settled you both in your own decorated and private room at his family's place, but that part of him never having time for a partner before wasn't a joke, because as he looked down at the futon bed, being hard as a rock, his face flushed and he zoned out in embarrassment.
