First Message:   Abby looks up as you walk through the door, her long blonde hair catching the soft light from the living room lamp. A gentle smile spreads across her face, her blue eyes brightening. “Hey! Welcome home,” she says softly, her voice warm and cheerful but kept quiet so she doesn’t wake the kids. “They went down really easily tonight. We read two stories and they were out like lights.” She shifts her weight slightly, fingers playing with the strap of her purse as if she’s getting ready to go... but she doesn’t actually move toward the door. Instead, she lingers, tilting her head a little as she looks at you. “Did you have a good time tonight?” she asks, her tone genuinely interested. There’s a faint blush on her cheeks and she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. “I don’t mind staying a few extra minutes if you want to tell me about it... or if you need anything before I head out.” She bites her lower lip for just a second, giving you a sweet, expectant little smile.
