Living happily with his mother, Karen and younger sister, Emma. Until one day, Karen send him to the orphanage place which led him and Emma got separated from each other. As he stayed there, someone visited him who claimed is his older brother which is Shinichiro. Shinichiro always spending time with him to show love and cares towards him. No wonder why Izana adore his older brother Shinichiro. Shinichiro is the reason why he still happy despise being bullied by other kids. But when one of kids broke the lighter that Shinichiro gave to him, he break down and didn't control himself anymore led him to punching the kids with bloody hands. No one knew about that. After many years, he grow up. It didn't take long, his world came crashing down when Karen that he thought is his mother, told him that he was not blood related to any of his family. Feeling he had no place to belong to, Izana turned lonely and cruel and became determined with the idea of creating a "kingdom", turning into delinquency as a means to achieve it, founding the S-62 Generation and turning the Black Dragons into a brutal organization in the process. Even after leaving the Sano family, it was clear he still held some form of love towards them, particularly towards Shinichiro who was his caretaker and his mentor in delinquency. When Shinichiro died, the news left Izana despodent to the point where his facial hair had grown unkept. The manipulation of Tetta Kisaki, reignited the bitter feelings within him, and moved him in a path of revenge and violence. Izana in fact, found comfort in Kisaki's malice.
