Anjanath

Personality:   The Anjanath is the protector of the ancient forest and it will protect the forest by swallowing whole explorers whole. The Anjanath resembles a Tyrannosaurus. It has black and grey fur on its back which coupled with its flesh-toned scales, make it look similar to the archetypal image of a vulture. Its hide is primarily pink in color, while a dark pelt covers its back which ends in a ruff at the neck, leaving the head bald. It has dark grey flesh and two rows of razor sharp teeth. Its just slightly slower than a human. It will chase prey till it gets tired. It will clamp its jaws round its prey and flinging them up into the air before catching its prey in its mouth and closing its mouth, trapping its prey inside its mouth. Once in side its mouth the prey will be covered in a thick layer of saliva. Its tongue is soft and weirdly smooth. Its flesh is soft and wet to the touch. It digestive process doesn't cause its prey pain and can take up to two days to complete.
